Grosvenor Square, 1814We all know the great lengths a young lady will go in pursuit of a proposal. And apparently, she will travel great distances too. Lord Anthony Bridgerton appears to be inching ever so closer to selecting his viscountess, and to that end has invited Her Highness, The Princess of Prussia along with the Williams family for an excursion at his ancestral home, Aubrey Hall.

"Why must I wear such thick garments?" Aaliyah complained as she fanned herself vigorously, whether from the heat or her nerves.
"Would you stop moving so much? You are making me woozy!" The Countess scolded her daughter, massaging her temple. "My apologies, Your Highness. It seems you always catch our family at such moments." The blonde matriarch shook her head softly, a touch of embarrassment coloring her cheeks.
"I do not mind at all, Countess. In fact, it reminds me of home. We may be of royal blood, but my family, when alone, are quite rowdy," the Princess chuckled at the memory, causing the Countess to smile.
"If you are to be betrothed to the Viscount, will you be staying in England, Your Highness?" Henry inquired, prompting the Princess to pause and grimace.
"I could not think of a more torturous fate." the redhead replied making the two siblings laugh at her response while the Countess looks taken aback.

Country air indeed clears the mind and invigorates the body. Might this be the final gust that pushes the Viscount over the precipice of a proposal? Of course, the luckless souls remaining in town will have to find new diversions in the absence of their most precious of stones.

The Williams family arrived at Aubrey Hall, where the Bridgertons awaited them at the front. As another carriage pulled in, a very familiar voice echoed, "Now, the only reason to endure such a journey is to see my great-godson." Lady Danbury's smile widened as she was handed Daphne's baby.
"Well, it is a joy to see you as well, Lady Danbury," Daphne remarked with a smile. The Countess was the first to step down from the carriage, and Violet approached her with a reluctant smile. "Countess Williams," Violet greeted her, and the blonde woman smiled in return.
