Lady Whistledown Society Papers
━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━━
Grosvenor Square, 1814

It seems that the wedding orchestrated by Her Majesty, The Queen, was nothing short of a fairytale. The Viscount Bridgerton and his new Viscountess are now off to Prussia for their honeymoon, retreating to the Viscountess' countryside estate. This author, along with the rest of the ton, eagerly awaits their return, hoping they bear good news—perhaps even a new addition to the Bridgerton lineage?

With the newlyweds temporarily out of society's watchful gaze, the ton is shifting its attention to other matters before the season concludes. Eyes and ears are now focused on the remaining debutantes and eligible lords. Will we witness more nuptials before everyone retreats to their country estates? One can only speculate.

"Fix that, I do not want that there," ordered the Countess of Williams, her voice firm as she directed the servants to remove several vases obstructing her vision. The Williams family had decided to host a grand ball to commemorate their successful social season, especially after the triumph of Princess Adi's wedding.

Of course, the Williams family remained unaware of what had transpired at Aubrey Hall, but it was far too late to alter fate now. The new Viscountess was already on her honeymoon.

Their family had much to celebrate. Aaliyah, the only daughter, had chaperoned the Prussian Princess, bringing honor to their name. Thomas, the eldest, and his wife had welcomed another baby girl. Liam and his wife had also been blessed with a child, and Alex was now betrothed to Miss Edwina Sharma.

The Earl passed by his wife with a smile, observing her meticulous attention to detail as she orchestrated the preparations for the ball. Meanwhile, the Williams children lounged about, enjoying a rare moment of leisure as the season drew to a close.

"Mama surely is focused on making tonight perfect," Aaliyah remarked as she sat with Sebastian, Mateo, Alex, and Henry, engaged in a game of cards.

"Anything to get her off our backs," Henry quipped, laying down his cards. The siblings in the drawing room nodded in agreement.

"So, you and this Bridgerton boy," Liam began with a smirk, holding a cookie in his hand. All eyes turned to Aaliyah, who rolled her eyes in response. "Should we be expecting a wedding soon?"

Aaliyah sighed, glancing at her brother. "The one you should be worrying about is Alex. He hasn't acted normal since meeting Miss Edwina," she pointed out, deflecting the attention to her brother.

"She is right. What is it about Miss Edwina that has you so smitten?" Mark Anthony asked, raising an eyebrow and smirking as he sipped from his flask.

"Oh, you should have seen him on a promenade with her," Henry added with a laugh. "I've never seen someone so rough fall over his feet and have hearts in his eyes."
