"VICTORY!"
A man ran through the gate of the city entrance with a flag held high. He was running and running from between the houses and streets and people who were smiling, looking at him and giving him way to pass through.
"VICTORY!"
The ragged man with his hair disheveled and his breathing accelerated, his feet scrapped below his Caligae and a few scratched less on his face as compared to his body, was high on energy of the news he bore as he finally reached the palace gate where the royal guards bowed in affirmation and escorted him to the head eunuch.
"VICTORY!" He screamed with excitement yet again.
Head eunuch, Kowit, smiled and gestured the servant to offer water to the soldier as he turned to return into the palace.
"Long Live the King!" He greeted.
Rama Phra Witthaya Nuengprakaew, the king, sat on his throne with the heavy crown on his head, his back arched straight and he looked like someone who was calm and composed but with an aura that could shake the surrounding with just a breath.
"What is the news, Kowit?" he asked.
"With your blessings and the power of almighty, General Pawat Viwatchaichok brought victory to Nakhon Si Thammarat once again, Your Majesty!"
The calm, still face beamed with a wide smile as he looked around his courtroom. He wished to stand up and jump with joy but he composed himself and nodded. "It's neither my blessing, nor the grace of god. This is my Ohm, never letting me down."
The royal court men bowed and smiled in affirmation. "Indeed, You Majesty!"
"Head Eunuch Kowit!" Witthaya turned to his subject. "Pass a royal edict to General Ohm Pawat Viwatchaichok."
The Eunuch bowed and gestured the royal registrar to get his ink ready.
The horses were queued in sync on the side as the soldiers, tired and unkempt, but full of enthusiasm with the recent victory waited in front of the gate of the Narathiwat, the capital city of Nakhon Si Thammarat kingdom.
When the gates opened, the soldiers all synched their steps to line up to both the sides giving way in the middle from where the huge Friesian Horse names Valkyrie, who has fought as many battles for the kingdom as the general himself, elegantly strolled from.
Valkyrie would never allow anyone to ride on it, not even the emperor himself. The only person that was allowed to ride him was the God of War himself. General Ohm Pawat Viwatchaichok, was the only son of Nai Anurak Viwatchaichok, the former chief general of Nakhon Si Thammarat Army; and the sworn son of the Emperor Rama Phra Witthaya Nuengprakaew, making him the Eighth Young Master of the kingdom. And at a mere age of twenty-six, he was at the highest post of the primary Army of the kingdom, a General. Not only that. He was a dominant Alpha, one with the strongest and most vital traits of the Thammarat dynasty.
