A/N: You will have to be patient. This story is lengthy. I am trying not to drag. But whatever is important has to be included. Let me know whenever it doesn't make sense.
Ohm was getting dressed in his chamber when the door burst open.
He turned, surprised, as Tharinee entered with Soi Chan and Rama in tow. "Look at the immorality with your own eyes..." She paused, seeing the empty bed.
Ohm bowed to Rama and Soi Chan and then turned to Tharinee. "To what do I owe the pleasure of Empress Tharinee visiting my chamber so early in the morning?"
Tharinee walked in and looked around. "Where is he?" she demanded.
"Who?" Soi Chan asked.
"Nanon... Th... There must be someone in here," Tharinee stammered, unable to make sense of anything.
"Oh, you mean Prince Han?" Ohm said. "He did come a few moments ago asking to borrow my sword. I refused." Ohm smiled at Rama and Soi Chan, who were looking at both Tharinee and Ohm, puzzled. "He is still a child," Ohm added, turning to Tharinee. "Is that what you were referring to as immorality?"
Tharinee opened and closed her mouth a few times before Soi Chan held her arm, making Tharinee face her. "Tharinee, you said Ohm was being immoral. Was this petty thing the reason you dragged us here? Do you have any idea how precious Ohm's time is right now? He has many responsibilities." Soi Chan scolded her.
"Mother, there is... This..." Tharinee tried to say something but didn't know what to say. Ohm had clearly gotten her out of trouble knowingly. Amy was supposed to be here, but Nanon did not allow her to. After Amy told her about this, she decided to make Nanon look like an immoral omega who took advantage of an alpha's rut before the wedding. But he wasn't in the chamber. There was no trace of him anywhere. No scent as well. It was as if her scheme failed and Ohm was aware of everything and handled it before anything else.
"Tharinee, you should go back to Emperor Borom and accompany him to the royal dining hall. Don't bother with petty palace issues. You are not just a princess anymore." Rama indirectly asked Tharinee to stop whatever she was planning and nodded at Ohm. "I am already tired. Ohm, bring me the details of your war preparations." Rama left the chamber, followed by Soi Chan, who glowered at Tharinee before leaving.
Tharinee turned to Ohm as soon as her parents were out of sight. She glowered at him for a moment before she turned to leave.
"Empress Tharinee," Ohm walked to her, stopping her in her tracks. "It seems we both know what happened just now."
Tharinee clenched her fist as she turned to Ohm. "So what? Do you think I am afraid of you?"
"You should be," Ohm said plainly, irking Tharinee.
"How dare you..."
"Tharinee," Ohm called her by her name, making her gasp. He walked to her, facing her. "We have practically grown up together. I consider you and Amy like my sisters. And so as a brother, I am advising you something today. It will be better for you to take this advice as soon as you can. Because you know nothing good will come from pushing me into a corner."
Tharinee was now glowering at Ohm with rage, unable to say anything. She knew very well that Ohm didn't care about power or authority. And that he was capable of wreaking havoc if he wanted to.
Ohm smirked. "I think you understand my point. Now that we are in the same team, I want three things from you."
"Who said I am in your team?" Tharinee yelled.
