As the gates of Thammarat Palace swung open, Emperor Rama rushed forward, his face breaking into a teary smile as he saw Ohm arrive with Valkyrie. "Ohm!" he cried out, arms wide open as he hurried towards him. Ohm glanced at Nanon, who smiled warmly at him from the carriage beside him. Ohm dismounted his horse, but before he could fully take in the scene, he was enveloped in a tight hug by Rama. "My son! You're back! I was told you went directly to Ayutthaya."
Soi Chan, accompanied by Force, Book, Bunsong, and the royal twins, also approached Nanon's carriage with a smile. Yai helped Nanon out of the carriage, and Nanon grinned widely at the sight of the familiar faces before him. "Empress!" he greeted, about to bow, but Soi Chan quickly placed her hands on his shoulders and pulled him into a warm embrace.
"You are His Supreme Highness now, my dear. You must never bow before anyone," she said, patting his head lovingly. "I missed you so much. I was so worried about your well-being."
Nanon, nearly teary-eyed, pulled back slightly. "Things have been chaotic, Your Highness, but we're all here now, and that's what matters, right?"
"From now on, call me Aunt. I'm Ohm's aunt, and so I'm yours too," Soi Chan smiled.
Nanon turned and hurried to Book, who took a few steps forward to meet him, and they embraced each other tightly.
"I was so worried," they both said in unison, holding each other close. "I missed you," they echoed again.
They pulled back and laughed, asking simultaneously, "How is your health?"
Force, watching the exchange, smiled and stepped forward. "I think you both need to calm down," he said, chuckling. He then turned to Nanon, "Welcome back, Your Supreme Highness."
Nanon returned the smile. "I'm still not used to being called that. I hope you are well, Prince," he said, nodding in greeting.
Force smiled warmly. "I was fine because I knew you were safe. But I had a hard time managing your friend here. He wasn't quite my consort in your absence," Force teased.
Book and Nanon chuckled together.
"Ohm, if you ever disappear again without telling me, I swear I'll beat you up, even if you are His Supreme Majesty," Soi Chan scolded playfully as she approached Ohm and took hold of his arm.
Ohm lowered his head slightly and smiled. "I apologize, Aunt Soi Chan. From now on, I'll always keep you informed of my whereabouts."
Soi Chan smiled back and gently patted his cheek. "I'm just glad my son is back."
"Yes! My son, come, your throne is waiting for you," Rama said to Ohm.
Ohm paused, and everyone's eyes were on him. "This is not my throne, Uncle," Ohm said, his voice firm.
Everyone except Nanon looked at him in confusion.
Ohm's expression grew serious as he turned to Rama. "I will take my family back to our homeland."
Rama gasped. "You mean..."
Force stepped forward. "We had hoped to have you here in Thammarat."
"That was before I knew I would have to reveal my family. Now that the seal has been revealed, the throne of Suphannarat, which is now Ayutthaya, awaits me. Only then will I be able to let my father rest in peace," Ohm explained, pulling Nanon close to him. "I'm here to take my family with me, back to where our home truly is. And in doing so, we wish to bid farewell to our second family here."
Nanon smiled, squeezing Ohm's hand.
"Nanon, you tell him," Soi Chan pleaded, holding Nanon's other hand. "Tell him not to go away from us."
