"Where did this come from?"
"It came is an employee we thought of putting in another section" replies Heitan and Jin continues to read the report he was given. "After all, it's being extremely complicated to deal with and could be a problem in the long run... understand one thing, Jin" He takes his son by the shoulders. Seokjin enters the room. It's so unusual for Heitan to talk to him. After all, whatever he talks in this house with his descendants, it's about the company. Nothing else... or complaints about his behavior. "When people in such important positions start to reveal themselves, you have to do everything you can to take what matters from them and thus, be able to eliminate them from the picture."
Jin nods, listening to every word of what his father explains. The person in question is Baek Lee-Seung, a very bright geneticist and chemist who unfortunately went straight to work instead of doing some research on his own. Jin is surprised that he is responsible for diluting the mixture that Namjoon made.
So, he stole from him, but his name is nowhere to be found. In what he reads, it appears that he has made some progress regarding genetic modification. What Namjoon wants to achieve and yet it seems distant in the way he desires.
After all, yes there have been more Altered, mostly in America. However, none last very long. They are failures in the most accurate terms.
"I want you to analyze everything and tell me if it's on the right track, is it important, is it not... tell me everything you think." He pats it with both hands and Jin nods. Heitan turns around and sees Seokjin standing there. "Don't go bother him. He's doing something important and if you tear up those papers, the one who's going to end up with his jaw unhinged, is you." He warns as he walks away. Seokjin slams the door in annoyance and goes to his brother who reads.
"What did Dad tell you, what does he want?" Jin answers half-heartedly. Nothing very clear. "That's my job. Give it to me." He holds out his hand and Jin looks at him with a raised eyebrow.
"No."
"No?"
"No. Dad gave it to me. He means it's my job" he informs defiantly and Seokjin clicks his tongue. "Don't bother me. Go study. You have an exam in two days and you're not going to climb that sixty just staring at the wall."
"You think you're so smart and important huh? You filthy whore" Jin scrunches up his face. "Dad's just using you to motivate me to do my job well. He doesn't care about you. You're not going to own the company or anything. This, it's a waste of time-"
"Maybe it's a way to motivate you, but if I do it right, they'll realize you're not needed" Jin interrupts with a pretentious smile. "Because you're nothing You're useless! That's what you really are!" he exclaims with a twisted, almost demented leave. Different from his brother's proud and pretentious gestures, "you're the one who's beneath me... because you know nothing. That's why you hate me: because you know I can surpass you."
Jin exclaims, with his hands on Seokjin's wrist; the twin grabs him by the neck, choking him and manages to hit him against a wall, repeating with the action until Jin manages to shriek louder. Calling the attention of his parents and making them move Seokjin away from him. Jin uses something very useful. "I WANTED HIM NOT TO DO WHAT YOU ASKED ME DAD! HE WAS INTERRUPTING ME!" he accuses quickly and Heitan judges the twin immediately.
"That's a lie! That...!"
"SILENCE! GET OUT OF HERE!"
Hyejun gives her husband a bad look and grabs Seokjin by the arm, pulling him out of the room. Jin rubs his neck and goes for the papers. He is surprised by the grip on his shoulder. "Come to my study. There I'll give you where to write down.
