Namjoon gets into the car, where the driver is Matthew, and he can leave the hospital. Too much time wasted in there. His seriousness is a detail that makes the person in charge of doing his weapons nervous. He dares to ask, even at the risk of being killed on the spot:
"Did something bad happen? Everyone is worried about the absence and that I couldn't tell Jin that I came-"
"Did you know that Jimin and Jungkook are dating? Officially and being so important one to another." Namjoon asks. He doesn't smile, he doesn't look at him, he just looks out the window with his arms crossed. Matthew stammers:
"Yes, that's what they called themselves. I'm surprised you didn't know."
"Jimin can't have a boyfriend. It's like Jin suddenly wants to date you: he can't." Matthew sips air in discreet way. He knows that Namjoon has certain quirks with his main creations.
Not to mention Jin has been the love of his life ever since he met him.
However, Matthew did not know that there was such suspicion and discomfort at the idea of his Altered having relations. Much less between them. He tries to find a logical solution, but Namjoon ends up speaking:
"I don't know what I'm going to do with my cat... my crybaby rabbit is going to apologize, squealing as always, but Jimin's fucking defiant face is not what I need," Namjoon mutters, the lights of Seoul passing through his dull and absent eyes. "Not to do favors for Jin... to make him feel loved by someone else."
"I wouldn't want to-"
"Matthew," Namjoon calls suddenly, making him fall silent. "If I say that Jin can't have anyone else, it's because he can't. Do you understand?" He answers affirmatively, quietly, afraid of angering his boss. "And if I say I'm going to rip Jungkook's head off so that Jimin will cry and understand that he can't have anyone else... I can and I will do it. Because at the end of the day, the two of them can't decide these things for themselves." he concludes smiling.
Matthew had never seen such a horrible, crazy smile in his life.
To think that all that's got him in such a bad mood is the idea that he's not the center of attention of those two is so... RIDICULOUS! Namjoon is someone very ridiculous. That he is incapable of not being the center of the universe. He's even pathetic that he depends on that for peace of mind.
Obviously he's not going to say anything about it. Matthew doesn't have to get involved in this part of the private life of this group of idiots, who are part of his job. If Namjoon solves all of his romantic problems, good! He hopes none of them die in the process.
"How likely is it that Jin asked Jimin for favors?"
"Very much. I helped him with several of those favors. I thought you were warned." Matthew and Namjoon admit to a snort.
"I'll have to hold his tongue for a while."
He shuddered, his expression twisting. Namjoon can say something for Matthew: he knows when he should stay quiet and not intervene.
For his part, he superficially enlist other details of his life. People in Korea are convinced that he is another victim of whoever commands and creates the Altered, so his reputation is safe. The ASCAR party scandal has everyone on edge. He keeps questioning how the business will go. He hopes they continue selling as usual.
That they haven't taken his absence as a reason to be lazy at the base.
And Jin...
Depending on how Jin react to seeing him alive, he will do one thing or another.

Jin calibrates absolutely all his sensors to begin the search for Namjoon. It's been too long without him showing up and he can't let that happen. What if it turn out bad? Has anyone discovered it? Did he die and not remember who he is despite coming back to life? So many possibilities and suddenly Namjoon is just there.
