"Are you sure you want me to go with you? Isn't it very important?"
"It is. That's precisely why I need you with me."
Jin smiles foolishly. Clumsy. In love. Everything his seventeen-year-old teenage body can't but manifest. Unlike usual, Namjoon this time did not allow him to kiss him. On the contrary, Namjoon gave him a little push to push him away. Jin finds this behavior out of the ordinary and it makes him wonder how important the person he is going to meet today can be.
Namjoon said that this is an old childhood friend of his whom he hasn't seen for many years, someone who can be very helpful to the new market he is founding; that is as long as they stay on the same page as he remembers. He doesn't have much more information than that and that he is from China.
Namjoon fixes Jin's hair, clothes and a bit of his face. Jin wears makeup all the time, even if it's very light, to cover dark circles under his eyes, any marks left behind and because he likes to see that his eyes are bigger. Thanks to the years that have passed, Jin no longer worries about whether he looks too feminine or not. He just likes to fix himself up to feel pretty.
With the huge and fantastic bonus of Namjoon praising him for it.
They both walk to the tinted car, with the driver starting the car without saying a word. Jin stares at Namjoon: his hair is slicked back with a flirtatious lock coming to his forehead all the time, curly and bouncy; he wears a rather long and oddly shaped black robe sent to him by some designer, someone who wants to ingratiate himself with him.
The most striking thing is the solitaire that depends on Namjoon's right ear, he recently got it pierced for fun and because he accidentally got shot that left that hole in his ear. Luckily he already had it planned.
Jin on the other hand wears a white shirt full of ruffles on the chest, black jacket with white and silver embroidery, coupled with simple dress pants. Because of the clothes, the early rejection and other details, he asks: "Is this person that important?"
"It's not about how important he is or might be in the future, it's about the fact that we probably won't get there. I get too distracted when I'm with you" Jin pouts and furrows his eyebrows. "You're the main consumer of my time, attention, energy and even bodily fluids." informs Namjoon leaning his head back on the seat and giving a lusty chuckle at that.
"Still... I didn't think there was any way for you to reject me like that, I thought I had done something wrong."
"When have you ever done anything wrong, Jin?"
Jin purses his lips and snorts.

The mystery character is: Jackson Wang. Jin is not surprised that he is someone attractive and can speak well. If Namjoon considered this opportunity, it is because he has something special. Namjoon doesn't settle or deal with just anything.
The conversation between the two is super long. Jin doesn't understand why exactly he should be here. It's a bit awkward and boring if Namjoon doesn't talk that much.
"I don't think it's something we can do yet. How do you know: China is a very big country and it would need a huge concentration of all the Altered you can give" Jackson comments waving a pen on the table, "not to mention that you need a lot more people to be able to pull it off. I don't rule out that it could be done in the future, but the time is not yet."
"I'm perfectly aware that it's not yet the time to do it in China. First, I need to finish testing all the poor variants I can do in Korea, then and from that, is that we would try to expand into China" clarifies Namjoon and Jin nods softly, "although I don't consider it would be amiss to leave this alliance founded before it's time." he adds with a shrug of his shoulders
