Nine. First step

"Visiting the company? Why is that?"

"It's my company too, isn't it? E-even if I'm not going to run it... I'm going to work there so" Jin watches his brother's gesture, who smiles to hear him deny Royal Pharmaceutic's presidency, "I thought it was a good idea to go visit it too."

His justification is not the best he could give, but realistically, it doesn't matter what he says: his mother and father are not going to like him wanting to go there. They consider him the odd son out even among the workers. They don't like to take him there. In general, they don't like to have Jin anywhere. If they don't reject him completely, it is because Jin has a lot of potential.

Heitan has the secret hope that his daughter will stop bothering saying she is a boy, dress the way she should, expose herself as a girl, operate her eyelids and nose to be able to show it. He has Namjoon!

"Well" Heitan wipes his mouth and looks at his second son. "It's true that you should soak it in... and since your grades are the best of the course" Seokjin's expression warps into one of annoyance. "Perhaps it's more appropriate for you to visit it."

Jin swallows thickly, reading quickly what's going on: his dad using it as encouragement for Seokjin to improve his mediocre grades. For him to stop taking it for granted that he'll own the company just because he's the favorite and put in genuine effort. The only good thing, he managed to get a ride there and doesn't have to deal with Seokjin who is still punished for his poor grades.

Jin listens carefully to the explanations given by the woman giving him the tour of the entire company. His father did it that way so he wouldn't have to deal with him. Jin knew it would be that way and that was what he was counting on. Going around all over the place, he finally gets to what he is interested in: the lab where they do the various drug tests, what they did with the Namjoon research they bought.

"In this space we are trying the creation of Altered" comments the girl. Jin stops by the window where there are several employees coming and going with different chemicals in vials. "While it's being accomplished in theory, the practice isn't going so well" she says humorously. "It's more complicated than it looks."

"I figured. It's very difficult. Because people might explode Right?" The girl nods with a soft smile. "But could it be done? That there are people with super strength and stuff."
