Chapter 2 Third Person POV

They ended up in the middle of a gigantic city with buildings that looked like they touched the sky. Keefe realized that he was still holding Sophie's hand and quickly let go, blushing.

"Okay, it looks like the school that we need to go to is called Goode High school and it's on 42nd street. Come on, we have walking to do." Sophie said and everybody groaned. Then they started "walking", which was really more like running, to Goode High School. When they finally reached the school they were panting and out of breath.

"Wow Foster, I didn't realize you liked running so much" Keefe said, smirking. "Are we secretly in a marathon?" Sophie rolled her eyes.

"Let's just hope we all have the same classes besides electives. It would be a disaster if you guys got lost. Well, I don't really know my way around either." Sophie said with a sigh, as they walked into the building.

"Wait, Sophie, what are electives? And why wouldn't we all be in that class too." Linh asked.

"Shoot! I didn't tell you guys about electives." Sophie groaned, wishing she could punch herself, "Hold up. Electives are a class you pick that you are interested in. You can pick up to three electives. There's: Foreign languages, Swimming, Painting, Music, Yearbook editing, student council, library, and machine class."

"Ohhh, I think I'll pick Yearbook, Library, and painting because I want to learn fashion illustration." Biana exclaimed practically glowing, "Oh, and I think we should all pick the library so we can have one elective together." Everyone agreed. "Tam Linh, what are you picking?" Biana asked them, "I want to know what emo boys are interested in." Tam blushed for some reason. Sophie noticed this and smiled.

"Well, I guess, library and... can I just pick library." Tam practically whined and Biana and Linh giggled.

"I mean, you can..." Sophie said, thinking for a moment, "Yeah, that's fine" She said, shrugging her shoulders.

"I think I'll pick... Swimming obviously, Yearbook, and library." Linh said, smiling, "This is going to be fun!" Everybody nodded, warming up to the idea of school even more. "What are you picking Sophie?"

"I picked foreign languages, yearbook editing, and library. But you guys can pick whatever you want. Keefe, what are you picking?" she asked, turning to him.

"Eh, probably Foreign languages, painting, and library. Foreign language is kinda the obvious choice for a polyglot."

"Dex, Marella, Fitz, what do you guys want for your electives?" Sophie asked, turning to them.

"Machines..., library, and...that's it." Dex said, "Is that okay Sophie. That I only picked two electives.

"Let's see, yearbook, library, and student council." Marella said, flipping her hair back. "And I love chatting with you all but... the first warning bell rang!" And with that they all looked at each other and ran into the building.
