Chapter 3 Annabeth POV
I've been so happy these past few months. The war with Gaea is over and me and my friends are all going to Goode High School where Percy goes. But then the new kids arrived and everything went haywire. AGAIN! We were walking to our classes when a group of kids 16 or 17 years old burst inside talking frantically in another language, one that I had never heard before. Me and my friends stopped walking and stared at them. They were some of the most beautiful people I had ever seen(besides Percy obviously) There was a girl with blond wavy hair and brown eyes with gold flecks in them. I realized she was the only brown person in the group and the rest of them had various shades of blue. There were two brunettes, brother and sister I think, they both had teal eyes and were some of the most beautiful people I had ever seen. Almost TOO beautiful. There was a boy with spiky blond hair, ice blue eyes and a smirk that told me he was a prankster like Leo was. There was a boy with strawberry-blond hair, periwinkle eyes and he was playing with a bunch of wires and gears like Leo usually did. There was a boy and a girl who were probably twins, they had silvery blue eyes black hair with silver tipped highlights. Finally there was a girl with dirty blond hair and tiny braids spread throughout. They practically ran past us, still frantically talking and waving their hands at each other. Then they stopped, backtracked, and the brown eyed girl spoke, "Hi, I'm Sophie and these are my friends. We're new here and we are going to be late. Can you help us find our classes?"
"Sure, can I see your schedule?" I said, glancing nervously at my friends. This felt like a monster attack waiting to happen. Percy nonchalantly took out a ballpoint pen that was actually Riptide, his sword.
"Yeah sure, we all have the same classes anyway." The girl- Sophie said, handing me her schedule.
"It looks like your first class is history in 203. We have that class too. We can show you how to get there. I'm Annabeth, this is my boyfriend Percy and my friends Piper, Hazel, Frank, Jason, and Leo."
"Nice to meet you. Thanks for your help, and like I said I'm Sophie and these are my friends Keefe, Fitz, Biana, Dex, Tam, Linh, And Marella. It's so good to meet nice people on the first day." Sophie smiled at us, and we all started walking towards our class.
