' Do something unexpected' the thoughts wouldn't leave my head since I heard it from Ed this morning. though I liked the fact that she decided to stop wearing her wig, I still had to ask her what motivated her. She told me that she felt like doing something unexpected." Hey!" Mia called beside me, jerking me out of my reverie.

" Huh?" I blinked.

" You are not listening to me are you?" We were in some fancy restaurant I could never afford in my life, The lady Mia talked about wanted to meet us there. It had been an hour yet, we had not seen her.I cleaned my sweaty palms on my red dress, I was meant to have no dress to wear today. However my many years of sewing clothes for opportunities like this came in handy.

Since we came in, we've had people glancing our way over and over again, and they were mostly ladies." Why are people looking at us like that, is the dress not okay?" I whispered.

Mia rolled her eyes," if you had been listening to me, you would know why they can't take their eyes off us,"

" Huh?"

" Don't you 'Huh?' me, are you seriously telling me you don't know how gorgeous you look in this dress?"

" But, I made it myself, what could possibly be gorgeous about it?, It's not even that fancy," I frowned, peering at my knee length body con gown once again, it wasn't any different from any other bodycon gown, all I did was add some designs that Ed designed for me.

Ed loved painting as a baby, so I bought her paintings and sketch book, she had made lots of sketches until a day I saw her sketch this dress, it was so beautiful, I made one for both myself and her, then Mia who found out fawned on the dress and forced me to make one for her.

True to her words, the dress was beautiful. However, Ed sketched it when she was just three years old, how could a three years olds sketch make adults lose concentration like this?. " I don't know what to do with you," Mia shook her head," your dress might not be gorgeous to you, but mine is," She adjusted her blue pleat skirt.

It was a dress I made for her a year ago, I did agree with her, it was indeed beautiful. A blue box pleat skirt that reached above her knees with sparkles at the edges, a bow behind it right on the tailbone and the top, was a white long sleeve with blue sparkles at the wrist with the neck of a Qipao. " Okay, I agree with you. Your dress looks pretty nice," I bit lip, "is the lady not-" I couldn't complete my sentence as Mia's phone rang.

" Hey! Hello, oh. alright, we will be right there," Then she cut the call and looked at me.

" What's wrong?"

" She says we have too much attention on us and that will expose her. now, she wants to meet at a cafe instead,"

" Attention?"

" Yes, Attention!" She pointed to a man who was slapped by his wife for looking at us for too long, and other ladies taking pictures of us.

" Oh, um... I didn't see that," I chuckled. We left the restaurant in a hurry to our next location,When we arrived at the new location, it was not as crowded as the old one, no one was present.Was she some kind of criminal? Why didn't she want to be seen in crowded places?

Thoughts ran wild In my mind as we sat on a sit by the window side, I looked out the road.I really hoped it worked out, at least whatever amount she was willing to offer will help in a way or another. I hoped she didn't bail on us." She's here!" Mia exclaimed, tapping me gently to bring me back to reality.I heaved a sigh of relief, she didn't bail on us.
