. Ayesha's POV .
It was raining heavily and I was sitting on the terrace looking at the falling water. I was trying hard to hold my calm, but since maami had spoken about my marriage I'm very disturbed.
Will I ever be able to get married? Can I forget my past? What will I be able to give to my husband? A broken heart?
What if someone with a tormenting past comes in my life? I will not like it, then how can I be someone's with a past like mine.
A few water drops wet my face and took me years back.
I was completing my assignment while sitting in the classroom, just then it started raining heavily.
"Lovely! Such a beautiful rain" he looked mesmerized by rain.
"Ya it is very beautiful" I agreed with him
"Come on Ayesha! Let's go in rain" he got excited like a child
"What? No! And anyway I have to complete my work"
Even though the college was almost empty, still it didn't seem like a nice idea to me to get wet in the rain with him.
"You are no fun, I love rain and you are not letting me enjoy it." He pouted, I chuckled.
"I'm not stopping you, you can enjoy the rain from here also" I said
"You can't be serious" he widened his eyes. "the real fun in rain is to get wet, it's amazing when rain washes down your every worry and when you hold rain drops in your palm, it's like you have conquered the world." He said dreamily, my work was long forgotten now, I just looked at him in awe.
"Some times you are such a child". I laughed.
"Then please let's go in the rain with me" he said stubbornly like a child, he even had a child-like innocence on his face.
"Ok, let's go" I couldn't say no to that face, his face lit up.
"You serious?" He asked, I nodded, he held my hand and took me in the rain.
I just looked at him, how he was splashing the water and having fun in the rain, I smiled. It was a delight to watch him like this.
He opened his arms and lifted his face towards the sky, his eyes were closed
"Ayesha! Feel this, it's amazing" he said.
"I think it's enough, we should not catch the cold" I said and held his arms and tried pulling him, suddenly he opened his eyes and grabbed my waist pulling me to him, I looked at him in shock.
"What are you doing?" I dared to ask.
He cupped my cheeks, and looked deep into my eyes.
