.
Athar's POV
.Ayesha has not spoken to her mother about me yet, and I am dying in anticipation of what her reaction would be. I hope she accepts our relationship.
I checked my phone for the hundredth time, still there was no reply from her. Last time I spoke with her in the evening, I was about to leave the office, I told her I will call her when I'll be on my way home, but she didn't answer when I called her, I sent her messages but she has not even seen them yet.
It was night time and still there is no news about her, she has gone missing since the last six hours, I hope she realises that she has broken her promise of staying in touch.
This is why I was afraid that she would forget me when she was there, I hope she is not in the kitchen with Musa right now, making coffee for him. I clenched my fist.
Izhaan is also not here and I miss him a lot too, he understands me, if he was here I would have shared my worries with him, I don't want to tell what I feel to dad, he anyway was after my life to get in contact with Ayesha's family.
"What happened? Where are you lost?" Dad tapped my shoulder.
"Nah nothing" I shook my head.
After a very long time dad and I got a chance to spend some time together, so we thought why not watch a movie.
We were in the tv room, dad was enjoying the movie, while I was just lost in Ayesha's thought, I don't want to think anything negative, but I am very restless today, I can't find peace.
"Is something bothering you?" Dad paused the movie and turned towards me completely.
"No, I'm absolutely fine" I lied.
"Then why do you look so stressed? Are you missing Ayesha?" He smiled. I nodded. "I have been telling you for so long, let's talk to her family and bring Ayesha here forever, but you are not listening to me" he said.
The thought of spending life with her, made me feel so good, I felt my heartbeat increasing, I smiled.
Suddenly my phone rang, it was Izhaan's call, and I answered immediately.
"Wassup buddy" I said.
"C... e.. talk" he said
"Huh? I didn't get you"
"Ath... lis.. me" he tried saying something again, but I couldn't understand anything.
"Wait, let me call you back" I said and got up.
"I'll be back" I got up and headed to my room. I only reached the dining area, when his call was coming again.
"Hello" I said.
"Can you hear me now?" He asked
"Oh thank God, your voice is clear now. How are you? How's work? I miss you dude, Bangalore seems really boring without you, incomplete without you, and quiet without Reem" I laughed at my comment about Reem, I expected him to scold me, but he remained silent.
"What happened?" I asked
"Athar, listen to me, I need to tell you something, but you have to listen to me calmly" his build up irritated me
"Izhaan just say the damn thing" I said, he sighed heavily and I felt my palms sweating in anticipation.
"Ayesha had gone to Hyderabad to convince her family about you" he took a pause and my heart was hammering in my chest.
"I.. I ...know that" I said.
"But what you don't know is that she was not just going to convince them for you, but she also wanted to refuse to marry Musa" he said and I was shocked to hear it.
