Izhaan's POV

I was in my office, preparing a presentation to send to Adrian, this was supposed to be sent today, otherwise it would leave our bad impression on him.

After it was done, I checked everything thoroughly again and e-mailed it to him. I sighed in relief, this work was tiring me up.

I picked up my phone and messaged Athar that I have completed the work, he sent a thumbs up to me.

I put my phone down and relaxed on the chair, just then there was a knock on the door, I sat straight and gave my consent to enter the room.

The door opened, Ayesha and Reem entered, I got up immediately they both had worried faces, it alerted me.

They were not supposed to come here today, so their sudden arrival was worrying me.

"All ok?" I asked, they never come to my room like this.

"There is a problem" Ayesha said

"What is it?" I asked

"The medical team for a health check up is coming today" Reem said

"So?" I raised my eyebrows.

"So we thought we would take care of it, but just now the venue guy called, we have booked the venue for Bollywood day and last day" Ayesha said.

"What is the problem?" I asked

"Ayesha and I have decided that I will go to the venue with Athar" Reem said, I didn't like what she said.

"Athar? For what?" I asked.

"It is booked under the company's name, so I can't sign the contract and make the payment" she rolled her eyes.

"I am also the owner of the company, I can sign and make the payment too" I said.

"But can you come with me?" Reem raised her eyebrows at me. "The venue is quite far" she said.

And I don't know why I wanted to say that I'm ready to go anywhere with her, but I controlled myself, and shook my head to snap out of my idiotic thoughts.

These thoughts are because of Zaid, he is polluting my mind.

"I would have gone for signing the contract, but the problem is Reem will not be able to handle so many health records, it is really not her forte" Ayesha sighed.

"I totally understand your point Ayesha, but the thing is Athar is not in the office today, he has gone for a meeting and I don't know even if he'll be able to come to the office today" I said.

"Not in the office today? But it is very important to sign the contract today, otherwise they will cancel our booking" Reem said worriedly.

Stupid girl! She is so adamant to go with Athar, that not once she thought that I'm here, she can go with me.

"Izhaan please, go with Reem" Ayesha requested.

"But Ayesha how can..." Reem was saying something but Ayesha cut her off.

"Quiet Reem, we need to finalize the booking, and how does it matter if you go with Athar or Izhaan" Ayesha glared at her, she nodded.

"You are right" she said and turned to me, "can you please come with me?" She asked, I felt strange glee in my heart, but I played it cool.

"If you insist" I shrugged.

"Thank you" Ayesha said

"But how will you handle all the work here alone, I'll call Athar and tell him to come to the office" I offered, but Ayesha shook her head vigorously.
