Reem's POV
.

It was morning time, Ayesha and I returned to Hyderabad, we were at the airport.

We decided that we will surprise everyone at home, that's why we didn't inform anyone about our short break.

It's been half an hour since we are trying to book a cab, but it's getting cancelled on its own again and again.

"I don't want this surprise drama anymore, I am so tired of standing here, please Reem, call Musa, he will pick us up" Ayesha said.

I suppressed a smirk, I knew she was just too impatient to meet Musa, but I was not in the mood to spoil my surprise.

"Let's try one more time" I said

"Enough Reem! I'm going to call Musa now" she said and was about to call him, but I snatched the phone from her hand.

"Let me call" I said.

"Fine" she sighed.

I opened the phonebook on her phone and called our cook on her private number.

"Hello" she answered

"Hello Samar" I said

"Why have you called her?" Ayesha frowned.

"Ayesha and I are about to reach the house in an hour at the most, prepare crepes, waffles, egg muffins and chocolate milkshake for breakfast for me" I said.

"Reeeemmm" Ayesha groaned in annoyance, I looked at her

"And ya! make beetroot juice for Ayesha and steam all the vegetables we have in the house, or prepare anything disgusting, you are well aware of her choice" I scrunched my nose.

"Yes didi" she said.

"And one more thing, if anyone finds out that Ayesha and I are coming, you will be gone." I warned her.

"Ok" she said and I ended the call.

"What the hell was that?" Ayesha yelled at me

"Calm down! See, by the time Musa will come here it'll be too late, let's just book a cab and head home ourselves" I said calmly.

"You think we have not tried to get a cab?' she crossed her arms at her chest.

"I have not tried yet" I said and said Bismillah then I opened the app to call for a cab, luckily I got one in the first attempt. "see, it's coming" I showed her phone's screen.

"Great! Why didn't you try earlier!" She asked, I just shrugged

"Why have you told Samar to prepare so much food?" She asked

"Because by the time we reach there we will be more hungry than we already are, so we should be able to eat food of our choices at least" I grinned

"You are crazy" she shook her head.

Luckily the cab arrived in five minutes, we settled in and headed home.

"It feels good to be back, I am realising now that I have missed Hyderabad" I said

"Me too. It's good to be back home" she smiled.

We looked outside at everything like we have returned here after years, when it just has been two and a half months.

Soon we reached home, we got out of the cab, paid the driver and turned to the entry gate.

I called Samar on my way here to leave the door open, so we tiptoed inside.

As expected everyone was sitting on the dining table waiting for food to come. Ayesha and my seats were empty, no-one sat on it even in our absence

Phuppo and mumma were talking, Musa and papa were discussing something and Aizal was surfing her phone.
