HEY HEY HEYYYY my cute readers;)) here's another new chapter for you🤭 This chapter is a little shorter than usual but it's a good bonus for the plot.. ANYWAYS. Y/n's POV
few days later

I'm laying in bed after another long day at work. I mean a long 12 hour shift. This time it went by fast, maybe because my unit is keeping it easy on me? I finished my rotation of 12 hour shifts for the month so..I asked my manager for a vacation and he surprisingly said yes! He said one month clear is fine since I work so hard and I've been coming to work when I'm supposed to. When I told Atsumu he was really happy! He kept sending me videos on Instagram of places he wants to go. I get a month off! I'm so happy. I remember telling Miwa and her reaction weirded me out. She had a smirk and so did Alisa and Maya... I honestly don't know what they were on about. I was just happy I get a month off cause I am so overwhelmed and mentally tired of work.

I'm on my laptop just watching my shows all comfy in bed till I get a FaceTime call from my mom. I smile at my screen and answer right away "Hey mom!!" I said to the screen and my mom's on the phone "hey honey! How's it going? Have you been eating? Sleeping?" My mom said the first thing ever. I laugh a little "yes mom. I have. I sent you a photo of my lunch when I was on my break" I said in a laugh and my mom smiles at me "where's dad?" I ask and she shows the camera to where my dad is.

He's at his desk really concentrating on his computer doing some work I think.. "hey daughter" he says and I smile "Hey father!" I said and my mom laughs with us "how's work my love?" My mom says and I smile and then the smiles weaken "uhh... very tiring.." I said calmly and they smile "yeah. That's what happens" my mom says "but! I got a vacation for a month" I said actually and genuinely happy "That's good! What's the occasion for the vacation though?" I hear my dad says and I feel a pit in my stomach. I'm too scared to tell them the reason... "umm.. so..... I forgot to mention to you guys...uhhh" I trail off and my mom looks at me waiting for me to spit it out " um ...Atsumu's my neighbor" I confess and my mom looks at me shocked " what?!" My dad barks from his desk and I smirk a little "Atsumu... Atsumu Miya. Is my neighbor..." I repeated "OH..." my mom says with my dad.

My mom blinks at her phone for a bit "How's... that going hun" my mom says trying to ease her thinking "honestly really nice... these walls are paper thin so I hear him play his stupid volleyball but.. it's been nice I guess. It's nice having him around at times, fills the loneliness in this Appartement. We hang out a lot too. It's really fun. He's brought me to places I didn't even know were here..." I said and my mom nods but lifted her brow with a little smile "I kinda miss that guy" my dad says I look at my laptop confused " he was like a son to me. We also had fun together. He'd help me with a lot of handy work" my dad says and my mom also nods to his answer. "I miss him too. Such a charm and really respectful and kind" my mom says and I see her lost in her thoughts.

My dad has a questioning face and then looks at the phone "Wait... how does this round back to you getting a vacation?.." my dad says walking down to where my mom was and is now seated next her "so... you know how he's like a professional athlete now..right.. so he invited me to his game... and ummm it's in the Philippines and I want to go... so I kinda need a vacation" I said explaining and my mom looks at me with a smirk and my dad looks at me wowed.

"hmmm well.." my dad trails off "That sounds fun.. that would be nice for you. To relax and have fun" my mom says "yeah.." I said with a smile "Well we really can't say no to that. Cause you are a full grown adult. But I'm praying that you'll be safe and responsible y/n" my dad says and I let out a soft laugh "yeah I will and you can't say no!" I playfully whine and my parents laugh "Yeah your dad is right. But I do want you to have fun. I'll let Atsumu be in charge. I need you to be safe y/n ok? and tell Atsumu I said hi. Oh and if you need anything just give us a text or a call us for anything " My mom says and I nod "yes mom" I said like I was back to being a teenager. "Tell him I said hi too! And that he should be ready for when we come and visit" my dad says in what seems like a tease "Yeah.. I will!" I said. For the rest of the call I talk with my parents work and my patience. And how Atsumu and I find the coolest places to eat.
