Karina's P.O.V

Dragging my feet covered in my cute, pink Crocs paired with my white cherry socks, I walked out of my apartment, my phone buzzing incessantly in my hand. I hurried towards the elevator, and as luck would have it, the doors opened immediately, revealing a person stepping out just as I was about to step in. In my rush, I accidentally bumped her shoulder.

"Sorry," I said quickly, glancing down at her. She looked up to me tiredly, but then her lips curved into a smile, a smile that made me stop in my tracks. Her cheeks puffed up from their calm pose, now raised in a way that made her eyes form a gentle crescent, as if they were smiling too.

I couldn't help but smile back at her, nodding briefly at each other before she continuous down the hallway. My eyes followed her short figure and the way her blonde hair swayed side to side. She was beautiful and alluring, a sight that lingered in my mind even as I walked away.

Buzz*

My phone buzzed again, pulling me back to reality. I looked down at the notification.

I giggled and closed my phone, finally descending the floors of the apartment building. Passing by James, I smiled and quickly walked out, spotting a big red Cadillac SUV with one window down.

Inside, I saw a group of girls in the back seat and two more up front.

From the front passenger seat, Giselle shouted at me, "Karina!"

I smiled at her and the whole group as they welcomed me inside the car.

"You and your late ass," Ningning said from the driver's seat.

I rolled my eyes. "I was doing my chores Ning. I didn't look at the time. " I said then continuing  " Anyways, how are you girls? "

"Nothing much, but this new Haikyu movie got me excited!" Wonyoung exclaimed.

"Pfft,  what do you mean nothing much? What about your girl Yujin~," Minju teased.

"Please, don't say 'my girl.' She is not my girl," Wonyoung retorted, rolling her eyes in exasperation at the mere mention of the name.

"That girl is so confusing," Yeji said, scrolling through her phone but listening to the conversation.
