Winter's P.O.V

Some students finally stepped up to try out for the band, but none had quite made the cut yet. Each audition was met with polite applause and encouraging words, but it was clear that we were still searching for the right fit.

"Giselle!" I called out in surprise, setting my guitar down and hurrying over to her. "You okay? You looked like you just ran a marathon earlier when you arrived."

She straightened up, still catching her breath but clearly excited. "I kinda did," she admitted with a laugh. "I saw the poster just a few minutes ago and sprinted all the way here."

"Well, we're glad you made it," Ryujin said from behind her drum set, a smirk playing on her lips. "Welcome to the band auditions."

Giselle took a moment to compose herself, then scanned the room, her eyes lighting up at the sight of all the instruments. "Thanks, guys. I was hoping I wasn't too late. Do you still need a keyboardist?"

Yujin grinned and pointed to the keyboard in the corner. "Always room for one more. Show us what you've got."

Giselle's face lit up even more as she made her way to the keyboard. She cracked her knuckles, took a deep breath, and began to play. The first few notes were tentative, but then her fingers danced over the keys with confidence, producing a beautiful, melodic tune that filled the room. We all watched in awe as she played, the music weaving seamlessly into the soundscape we had created earlier. Her talent was undeniable, and it was clear that she was a perfect fit for our band. As she finished, we all burst into applause.

"That was amazing, Giselle!" Chaewon said, her eyes wide with admiration.

Giselle blushed and gave a modest shrug. "Thanks. I've been practicing a lot lately."

"Well, all that practice definitely paid off," Ryujin said, giving her a high five. "Welcome to the band."

"But wait," I questioned. "Aren't you on the volleyball team?"

"Well... about that. I'm thinking of quitting," Giselle said, giving an awkward smile.

"What... Quit!?" Yujin and Ryujin shouted in unison.

"Are you for real?" Chaewon asked, her tone incredulous.

"Yeah," Giselle said, still smiling awkwardly.

"Why?" I asked, genuinely curious.

"I initially wanted to be in a band, but this school didn't have one before. And, well, I'm best friends with Karina, so she basically dragged me to the volleyball team. But now that you guys are here, I will be joining and quitting volleyball."

"Does Karina know about you quitting?" Yujin asked.

"No, not yet," Giselle said, giving another awkward smile.

"Well, doesn't matter now. You're in the band," Ryujin said, patting her back. I smiled towards her and said, "Congrats."
