Winter's P.O.V
"No fucking way that happened," Ryujin exclaimed, her eyes wide with disbelief. Beside her, Yujin let out a squeal, her excitement palpable as she processed the story I had just finished telling them about what happened during the so-called date yesterday.
I still couldn't believe it myself.
It was a date!
A warm smile spread across my face as the realization sank in, filling me with a giddy sensation that made my heart flutter. My thoughts were abruptly interrupted when Chaewon spoke up, her voice cutting through the cheerful atmosphere like a knife.
"Does this mean you're leaving Minju alone now?" she asked, her tone stern and demanding.
"Huh?" I replied, caught off guard by the sudden change in mood.
"You like Karina, right?" she pressed, her eyes narrowing slightly.
"Well... yea," I admitted, feeling a bit flustered under her intense gaze.
"Make sure of it. And stay away from Minju," Chaewon said, her words carrying a finality that shattered the happy, cheery atmosphere from earlier. The room fell silent, the weight of her words hanging heavily in the air.
Ryujin coughs and then diverts our attention. "Okay... Anyways... We got a band meet later after school since we might have a concert soon."
We all nodded in agreement.
"I'll text Giselle," I said, finally remembering that we added her to a group chat yesterday."Yeah, do that," Yujin said as she finally gathered her stuff from her locker.
After messaging Giselle, I opened my locker and started gathering the books I needed for today's classes. As I focused on my task, a soft pair of hands suddenly covered my eyes, causing me to jolt in surprise.
"Yah! Ryujin!" I shouted, thinking it was my friend. But when my eyes were uncovered, I turned around in surprise.
"Oh," Yujin said as Ryujin's eyes widened, and Chaewon stayed quiet, her fists clawing at her locker door.
It was Minju and her group.
Yujin quickly smiled at seeing the tall giant, and Ryujin swiftly complimented the dragon-eyed girl beside her.
"Hi," I said, averting my gaze and noticing Karina behind Minju. Karina smiled and walked towards us, finally arriving beside Minju.
Minju ignored Karina and said, "Hi, good morning."
"Morning," I responded, turning back around to gather my remaining stuff and stuffing my hoodie inside my bag. I then turned around again, slamming my locker door shut.
"W-what are you guys doing here?" I asked, trying to keep my voice steady despite the unexpected visit.
