Chapter Thirteen - Gangs & Dreams

I groan and switch of my alarm clock that was furiously beeping beside my bed, only to collapse back into my bed and get comfortable. I'm too tired to do anything today. I'm about to fall asleep again when the door suddenly flings open and I hear footsteps coming towards the bed, but I couldn't be bothered to see who it was.

"Get up lazy bug!" A familiar voice rings in my ears. "Go away Parker." I mutter and roll over to see him fiddling with my lampshade for some reason. I hear him running to the other side of my room and grabbing something."If you don't get up, I will sing to you." He warns. God he's so stupid. Why does nobody care about my sleeping schedule anymore?

"Who let you in anyway?" I know Chris wouldn't, so it must of been my parents. He chuckles and starts strumming on my guitar. "SKY ROSE IS AN ANNOYING DORK WHO REALLY REALLY LIKES ZAC PARKEEERRRR.." He bellows and I groan and cover my ears.

"You wish. Now get out so I can get changed." I mumble and slowly stand up, rubbing my eyes. He stands outside and stares at me, smirking. "Well, close the door idiot." I laugh.

"Oh, right." He says and I shake my head.

I get changed into a cropped black shirt and skinny jeans with ankle boots. I put on a bit of make up and open the door, realising that Zac was leaning on it so he fell into my room and landed on his butt causing me to burst out laughing.

He stands up and his cheeks redden ever so slightly for a moment. He grabs my hand and pulls me out my door and downstairs. I can't lie I definitely felt sparks when he touched me, as much as I hated to admit it.

"Woah wait where are we going?" I ask as he pulls me out the door, waving to my parents. "Out." Is all he simply replies.

"Uh, to where?" I stop and push the hair out of my face. "I haven't even have breakfast." I pout.

"Well then we'll go to Nando's.. That looks really pretty on you by the way." He mumbles and I blush like crazy, I hated that habit I had.

"uh thanks.." He pulls me onto his motorbike which i have become somewhat used to by now and speeds out the driveway. Once we get to Nando's he sits down at a table and i sit opposite him, staring at him.

He stills owes me an explanation about what happened with those guys a few days ago, I think this is a good time to ask since we had nothing else to talk about.

"Uh, Zac? what did you mean by 'they found me' the other day?" He fidgeted in his seat. "I.. I was once part of.. a group.. of people-"

"You were in a gang weren't you?" I cut him off. He sighed and relaxed a bit. "Yes, basically. I told a couple of people, the word spread around to everyone at school, I was immediately considered a 'badass' or something like that. For a while I liked it, I liked the attention. The problem was it was supposed to be a secret gang and so eventually, the police found out, and the gang got exposed. I guess they're out of jail or something and they've come back for revenge."

I just sat there, not really saying anything. Why the hell would he join a gang? Has he got no common sense at all.

"Come on, please don't be mad at me. I hate it when your mad at me." He begs and I scoff. "Should've thought about that before you put my fucking life in danger, mate."

I turn my head away from him toward the waiter who was heading over here. "Hi, what can I get you today?" He asked. I wasn't really listening to anything he was saying because I was too busy looking him up and down. He was super attractive, to say the least.

Zac order some food for us and when the waiter left he scoffed. "What a douchebag."

"Why is he a douchebag? He doesn't put people's lives in danger, I see nothing wrong with him."

"All he was doing the whole time he served us was checking you out. Practically eye-raping you."

I laughed at the look on his face. "Aww is poor Zacy Whacky jealous?" I cooed, earning me a scowl.

I was distracted again when he came back over and placed our food in front of us. "Oh, I thought you might like this as well." He winked and pulled out a small piece of paper with a phone number on it, his I'm presuming. I was about to take it out of his hand when Zac flicked his hand away from me. "Back off my girlfriend, dick." He scowled surprising me.

"Oh, uhh, sorry I didn't know." He stuttered and walked away.

"What the hell was that for?" I stood up, raising my voice. Of course Zac had to ruin everything.
"I was just trying to protect you, he didn't seem like a nice guy-"

"Bullshit." I scoffed and turned away from him.

*an hour later*

I see two familiar faces approaching us from the entry. Great, more people. "Hey Zac and.. Sky what are you doing here?" Haynes voice sounded from beside me.

"Oh hey guys." I say to him and Jake. "What's up?"

"Nothing much. We were looking everywhere for Zac and we couldn't find him, I knew he would be here considering he comes here like every day."

"Are you guys like dating now?" Jake pipes up from behind Haynes.

"No, I wouldn't even dream about dating her." Zac says, looking back down at the table.

"Yeah whatever, let's go to the movies." Jake says. I nod and stand up, glad to be getting out of this place. Nandos was part of a big shopping centre, so the movies was only across the other side of it.

We walked for a while, not really talking, to the movies. We bought tickets for a film called 'Living The Dream' (A/N not a real movie!) which was basically about a girl who has cancer, and She has to complete her bucket list before she dies.

"Wait, I never notice you had a belly ring!" Zac says from in front of me,
Pointing at my belly button.

"Yeah I got it done a while ago."

"What do you want to do before you die?" Zac asks, intrigued.

"Well, I want to go to NYC, walk amongst the stars in LA, go skydiving, travel to Paris, andd... Swim with sharks." I say, looking back over at Zac.

"You know what?" He says, staring at something behind me with great interest.
"What?"

"We're going to do all those things, together."
