The Bad Boy Calls Me Dork

Chapter 19 - Tea-rrific

"Do you mind?" Zac says whilst looking at Flynn and I with disgust. The bell has just gone and everyone was leaving the classroom. I had managed to get a few reactions out of Zac, but I still can't figure it out. Is he jealous or is he just an asshole in general?

Why am i even asking myself that, of course he's an asshole.

"Slut." Zac mutters under his breath. A bit hypocritical of you ask me, he's the one who man-whores around with girls all day. Not going to lie, that kind of hurt though.

"What did you just say?" Flynn gawks at Zac. I sense serous anger appearing on Flynn's face. He seems really genuine and cares about me even though we literally just met. Which is more than I can say about Zac. I don't know why i'm comparing them it's not like i'm going to date them.

"I said, Sky Rose is a little sl-" Before Zac can finish insulting me and my pride, a strong fist connects with his face. Mixed emotions hit me, first being the fact that Flynn just defended me and punched Zac Parker! Take that you bitch. Zac glares so hard at Flynn i'm surprised his eyes didn't combust from pressure, he looks like he really really wants to punch him back. To my utter surprise, he does absolutely nothing but keep it to himself and walks out of the room gritting his teeth.

I stand there gawking, Zac didn't even hit him back! He's changed so much recently.

"What a dick." Flynn half jokingly laughs and turns towards me scratching his head, which is the universal sign when a boy is uncomfortable. I'm not sure how to react so i just smile back.

"Yeah, thanks for that. I think the least I can do is ask you to come join us at lunch."

He nods. "Sure. I'm sure the boys can keep themselves amused for one break."

I laugh and we start to walk towards the area where we usually sit at lunch time. When we reach the spot there's the usual 3 people waiting for me, and Chris?

"Chris what are you doing siting with our group?" I question and gesture Flynn to sit down beside me at the cafeteria table.

"Lovely to see you too Sky." He rolls his eyes and leans in to Kiss Ashley.

"Please don't" I make a puking noise earning a laugh from the new couple. At our table there's Liana and her new boyfriend, Kyle. They finally got together after ages of fighting and denying their feelings for each other which i'm happy about because they are my OTP. Then there's Ashley and I and now apparently Chris has joined. he usually sits his his super popular friends but I guess not today.

I sense Flynn shuffling awkwardly next to me and I realised i forgot to introduce him. "Oh, sorry. Guys this is Flynn Ryder, Flynn this is Liana, Ashley, Kyle and Chris my brother."

"Chris you never told me you had a sister, especially such a hot one." He casually states, making me blush again. I guess he's already friends with my brother somehow. "Gross man, and she's not important enough for me to discuss." Chris jokes. I stick the finger up at him and he returns the favour.

We sit around and joke for a while before the bell goes.

The rest of the day went really fast, and I haven't seen Zac since first period. He's probably off snogging Monica. or cheating on her, you never know. I kind of feel really bad for leading on Flynn, but it's not like we kissed or anything. Although to be honest, even though i just met Flynn, he's so nice. Whereas somebody else (not mentioning names) is calling me a slut to my face.

"Get in loser we're going shopping." Chris drives up next to me and shout the worst girl accent i've ever heard in my life and beeps the horn about several times causing the entire parking lot to stare at us. God he's an idiot sometimes. I get into his convertible and we make our way home with the radio on full blast. One of the things I love about my brother is that he's so chill. We aways can joke around without actually fighting.
