Akutagawa's POV:
"Where am I? Is this hell? It's so white here.
Can this be heaven?
After I killed so many people?"
Akutagawa's head felt like his head was going to explode.
„Is he awake?" „Yeah, he's blinking!"
The monitor was beeping and Akutagawa's heartbeat was stabilizing.
Whose voices are that?
Suddenly he saw a silhouettes while his eyesight cleared and he could recognize the face of Yosano.
Isn't that the Agency fools doctor? Can this be? Am I alive?
" Hey, say something! Is everything alright?", Yosano asked in a semi concerned and semi annoyed tone.
Before he could answer the question a scream rang out and with a loud slam the door opened. Four people crashed into the room.
" RYUUUU !", Gin screamed with tears of happiness in her eyes while she crushed into his chest,hugging him tightly.
Chuuya stood right in front of him with a concerned expression on his face:" Oi, Aku are you Ok?"
The other two were Dazai-san and the jinko.
"You're alive!", Gin cried,"I knew it! You wouldn't die like that so easily without a sound!"
"But why am I alive? Didn't I die on the ship, was turned into a vampire, transformed back, defeated Fukuchi and turned into a vampire again? I should be dead!",Akutagawa asked, having no idea of the whole situation.
"Well it was like that...", Atsushi started.
*Flashback right after season five last episode*
No one's POV:
"Just the two of us?"
"Do we need anyone else's help?"
"Let's go,Akutagawa~!"
And so they fought Ochi Fukuchi again and this time the new generation of double black won against this war god in human form.
After their victory Akutagawa turned into a vampire again but Yosano and Dazai quickly found a way to end the vampirism: Dazai nullified the transformation one by one and Yosano treated the wounds and injuries right afterwards. This method saved almost everyone,except for Ryunosuke Akutagawa.
His case was a speacial one,because he was already dead when he was turned into a vampire.
At least everyone thought so. The little pulse he had wich he couldn't even feel himself before the transformation was enough for Yosano to heal him alongside his lung disease.
*Present*
"... so this is the way how you survived.", Atsushi explained everything from the past five days.
"We all had our cuts and bruises but in the end things turned out pretty well anyways! I'm really glad that you're alright now!",Chuuya said, ruffling fatherly through his hair with a big grin on his face.
"What my short chibi says~ <3!", Dazai teased with his usual blobby and cheerful tone.
" Grhhhh...! Shitty mackerel! Stop teasing my height, asshole!"
"Ouch, you're hurting my feelings, Chibi~!"
Seemingly everything was normal and everyone was Ok but still...
No words of approval nor praise.
"Even my death wasn't enough to gain a word of acknowledgement..."
But in the first time of his life, as he saw in those smiling and laughing faces, he felt something like satisfaction.
After a while of talking and asking, Gin recommended to head back home to let him rest a bit. Still lost in his thoughts about the fateful day on the ship, Akutagawa only answered with a "hmm", as he was pulled outside by Gin, where a luxurious black car was waiting for them.
Well, this is the privilege and prestige one of the highest ranked mafiosi from the infamous Port Mafia could enjoy. Along with Chuuya and Gin he was driven home.
