No one's POV:

At Akutagawa house (he's kinda rich so it's pretty big), Gin made some tea for herself, her brother and the ginger, while her brother was making dinner. After eating they talked about the whole incident and even came up with past events, when the siblings were still new in the Mafia.

Gin was tired, so she went to bed early, but Chuuya and his apprentice stayed awake for some hours: The redhead noticed Akutagawa's thoughtful face and knew that something was bothering him:" Hey, Aku, what's wrong with you? Are you feeling bad or something?"

"No, ...

it's just..."

"We can talk about it....

...Has it to do with Dazai?", Chuuya sighed.

"It's just...

that after everything that happened, he still sees me as a weak and pathetic tool...But in the end he's right, isn't he? I'm still weak compared to him or you ",he replied in a bitter and sad tone.

"What are you talking about?! You're one of the strongest ability users I've ever seen and you are not pathetic!

I know that you're still mad and blame yourself for something that isn't your fault but that's not what you should do.

Ryunosuke, you are strong, even if that damn mackerel doesn't acknowledge you."

"Why...? Why did he left me then...?", a tear left Akutagawa's eye.

This question was a question that Chuuya asked himself so many times before and yet he didn't know how to answer.

In this question he could hear and feel so much vulnerability and sadness, mirroring the horrible past of his mentee.

"I...,

...I don't know. But I know that he left us and will never come back. That's all.

He chained us on this dark and painful environment and then left without a single word to live in the light, while leaving us behind.

This is the true reason why I hate him so much.

Next time I'll definitely kick his ass!"

Saying those words reminded him on his playful past with Dazai but also on the days when he saw an Akutagawa with broken limbs spilling blood while lying on the floor, flinching in pain. A past full of agony and tears.

But still: Dazai was always the one he could really trust and it was true that he opened many bottles of Petrus the day when Dazai left. But not in celebration but with the hope to forget him, because thinking about him hurt too much.

The Port Mafia wasn't the best place for a young teenager to grow up but even though so many young lives found a purpose and a reason to stay in a criminal organization. There, a friendship could bring more happiness than anything else.

Akutagawa and Chuuya were always in a good relationship: The older one often visited his friend in the hospital and the two and Gin talked for hours. Chuuya and Gin were two of the few people that ever saw Ryūnosuke smile. But as time (the harsh training too) went by and since Dazai's leaving even those two only witnessed his smile rarely. The person that Akutagawa respected the most and whose praise was the most important thing in his life left.

And suddenly Chuuya couldn't help but to hug his black haired friend, trying to comfort him.

Akutagawa was surprised at first but responded with a hug.

For the next couple of minutes they just sat there, embracing each other, trying to fill the void in them, that Dazai created with his leaving.

"You're missing him too, don't you, Chuuya-san?"

There was no chance to deny it:

"Yes, I do."
