Apologies and forgiveness for something unforgivable

Just a small sacrifice

They still needed information: the description of the spies from the day before were too general. The other teams, formed out of mafia members and detectives didn't have more information either: The only ones who had found other spies from the opponent were Kyouka, Reiko and Verlaine and the Black Lizard with Yosano's support. Those things like ability user and tall or slim figure matched with many criminals, so their task was to get more details about the head of the organization or at least get to know their location.

Akutagawa was thinking hard:

"If the enemy infiltrated the city with spies, they would have needed to extort many people, but the sheep was, as I heard from Chuuya-san, a relatively small group and their members unexpierienced and weak, so how on earth they would have managed to do this?

Do they have new members? Or t-"

"Hey, Akutagawa! How much effort do you think this organization has put in to gather these people to work for them? I mean-",Atsushi suddenly interrupted.

"That's exactly what I am thinking about. I'm sure Dazai-san has already thought about this, but it's truly smart from them:

If anyone gets captured and needs to tell information, they can only give a limited amount of information. Those people are only one part of a giant chain."

"You're right. If we wanna defeat them we need to break each and every one of those parts one after another until we get to the main force and I believe that will be the real challenge."

The tiger and the black haired searched through the whole city again, but found nothing.

It was already four in the afternoon when the two of them came into the busiest corner of Yokohama. Akutagawa and Atsushi sat on a bench near to a shop wich was offering handmade dessert.

"Uhh... that was so exhausting! Why did you have to keep going with your speed? If it was up to me I would have been a bit slower and more relaxed",Atsushi complained.

Akutagawa really had some discipline: They almost ran nonstop for hours and only stopped when they saw someone suspicious. It seemed that Ryūnosuke was in a very healthy and strong state after his recovery from the lung disease.

"You're actually pretty weak for a tiger..."

"Hey, I'm human most of the time, okay? But you're inhuman:

I mean who can run nonstop for hours without even getting tired one bit?

Or do you remember when I smashed you with the strength of a tiger against a container and you just stood up seconds later like it was nothing and pierced like a thousand needles through me with your creepy ability?",Atsushi responded anxiously.

Akutagawa laughed mockingly and thought by himself: "That jinko is kind of amusing sometimes..."

Suddenly a woman came out of the dessert shop. She was in old age and wore a green dress and a white kitchen apron. A smile was seen in her face as she walked towards the two young adults.

"Ohayo, what are you doing here at this time? Oh and who is this young boy? Your friend?"

Atsushi was stunned. Does she mean Akutagawa? Then Akutagawa actually answered in a surprisingly polite way:

"Ehhher...no...I'm here to discuss some important issues with my colleague Nakajima-san."

The woman didn't seem to recognize the lie wich led Atsushi to the statement that she absolutely did not know about Akutagawa's real identity and profession.
