Training for the rabid dog

After Akutagawa returned from his state as a vampire and was cured by Yosano, his lung disease was healed too.

The next day Akutagawa woke up. It was 9 am already so he got out of his bed and made sure that he was dressed in his usual outfit. As he walked down to the living room where Gin was already eating her breakfast he suddenly realized that his chest didn't hurt as usual:

It felt so light and the stinging pain he was used to, was gone. His whole body felt better than it ever did, making Ryūnosuke experience how a healthy body feels.

"Good morning, Oni-chan ! So...? How are you feeling ? I need to go on a mission today so I asked Chuuya-san if he could ask the Boss for a day off. For you of course.", Gin greeted.

Akutagawa raised an eyebrows:"I'm feeling fine. I don't think I need to rest another day."

"But I think so! You just saved the world so I'm pretty sure that you need a break. At least for these two days, please !"

"Well, okay, but tomorrow I'll go to training again."

The siblings said goodbye to each other and Akutagawa closed the door while thinking by himself: "If I got better physical strength, then I can surely improve my fighting skills..."

On the next day he woke up early in the morning and quickly finished his morning routine. At 8 am Akutagawa left his house and drove with a car to the Port Mafia's headquarters. Chuuya was already waiting in the training area.

"Chuuya-san, do you have some advice about combining an ability with physical strength? My lack of physical endurance, strength and speed could be the reason for my fail-",he asked, but before he could finish his words, Chuuya cut his words off:

"Oi, how many times do I have to tell you that you didn't FAIL?! But your idea is a good one. Of course I have some advice! I mean I AM combining my physicals with my gift. So let's get started! Show me your skills, Ryūnosuke!"

Time skip *one-two months later*

In the past two months Akutagawa has been training under Chuuya's guidance and really: His speed, agility and strength increased noticeably. Also, without his worry about the limit of his body Akutagawa was able to think even more strategic and could see through his opponents plans.

Also he developed a new technique of Rashomon: "The spider's thread"

Three weeks ago he got that idea and tried to figure out how to make Rashomon as thin as a spider's thread. Chuuya visited him that night, helping him to archive his goal. In the following three weeks Chuuya trained with Akutagawa, who used the new technique.

Today Akutagawa was waiting for Chuuya in the training hall when his mentor came in with a phone in his hand. "Got orders from the Boss. He wants to meet you this afternoon. Ane-san (Koyou)will inform us when it's time. Till that, let's see if you can use "the spider's thread" in a fight against me !"

Akutagawa attacked first with normal tendrils, fighting with his old techniques: "SAWARABI!" Tendrils as sharp as blades came out of the ground but Chuuya could jump away in the right time while activating his own ability. 

He tried to touch Akutagawa with a frontal strike but Akutagawa could keep distance while several sashes from Rashomon stabbed into Chuuya's direction from three sides at the same time. Chuuya had his problems to avoid but managed to punch his apprentice but Akutagawa could cushion his fall and strike back, hitting Chuuya's arm. He let out a sharp breath: "SPIDER'S THREAD !" Threads as thin as silk came out of his coat, rushing to Chuuya's direction but using his ability, the redhead was able to block the attacks. 

He ran with incredible speed towards Akutagawa, grabbing his arm and throwing him into the heap of empty weapon containers. A knife was hovering over the black haired man, controlled by Chuuya's gift. "Well, you lost but I'm really impressed: You indeed managed to create some problems for me. Good job !"

"Not so fast..."

"Huh...?" Suddenly Chuuya sensed something thin at his neck. A thread, almost invisible if he hadn't looked carefully. "Clever...! So this fight ends with an equal. Back then Dazai was the only one who ever challenged me that much. Well,until today."

As Akutagawa, who was exhausted but still a bit satisfied with himself, stood up, the door opened, revealing the figure of the Port Mafia's executive, Koyou Ozaki.

"Chuuya-kun, Akutagawa-kun, the Boss wants you. Verlaine will be there too.

I've heard you improved, Ryūnosuke. Great work!" A smile appeared in her face.

"That guy will show up too? What a rare sight. The last time I saw him was six months ago.",Chuuya grunted in his raspy voice

Akutagawa just stood there and nodded,a part of him was still thinking about the fight minutes before.

"Let's go.."
