Dear Gillenia,

Mrs. Sable Lynn Snow, First Lady of Panem—doesn't tit sound lovely? You're the first to be receiving letters from a member of office! Our day was the best of our lives. Coryo woke me up to lay in a bed of roses before dawn and asked me how nervous I was. He caressed every contour of my face while the rising sun was thawing the petals beneath us. The dew must have e looked like we were laying on diamonds. We knew the handlers would be waking to pamper us soon so we parted, looking forward to seeing each other down the aisle. I had a disaster an hour before my entrance—Tigris was bustling my train to hide a wine stain and it began to hit me that I, a nobody from the back woods, was marrying the President. We never got to tell each other how we loved each other, only showed it through our actions. When I met him on our balcony, we got each other's answers. He was a vision in white, looking proud and pristine, but was I got closer he gave up on appearances and cried happy tears. He tossed our cards and we said our own vows instead. What was unexpected was Flint emerging from the crowd, threatening to harm Coryo and I if we didn't stop the wedding. He slandered Coryo when he tried to break things up and gave us death threats so we had no choice but two have him arrested. Flint's eyes were fiery, so I said goodbye. Coryo kissed me like there was no one watching and it wasn't icy like I expected at all! The sound of the crowd was muffled and we were completely in our own world with petals raining down on me from above. He was kissing me like we were each other's last source of air—so softly, guiding me every step of the way just like he did in the pageant. I've never seen hi pearly white teeth gleam so genuinely until then. We're like two turtle doves in a peach tree. After the ceremony we had a banquet and a dance and we were counting down when we could get comfortable! I'm glad we squeezed in a moment together—you and Cillian looked so whimsical, almost Capitol, that I hardly recognised you! Coryo did know you two were from 13 because Heavensbee said he was going there, but he told no one. Tomorrow I'm having dinner with Coryo's family, then we'll be on our honeymoon! This was the best outcome from tragedy I've ever had—we must have said "I love you" over 1000 times!

Love,

Sable Snow
