"Violet, Come back to me!" I hear my dad tell me but his voice is different. "Violet, tell me what happened," the voice calls again but this time it's Alex and my dads face isn't there anymore, "Alex?" I whisper.

"Are you alright? Why are you crying?" He asks slightly shaking my shoulders. I sniffle and throw my arms around his shoulders, he slightly relaxes under my touch and so do I. We might've stayed like that for what seems like a thousand years but I don't mind, I need a hug and I'm glad he was there to wake me from that horrible spell.

I still can't believe it, and I won't tell anyone until I'm certain. "tell me, why were you crying?" Alex pleas, "I saw my parents, that's all." I tell him with certainty so he believes me. He just nods and helps me to my feet as we walk hand in hand to his car, "What would you like to eat?" He asks me sweetly when we get in his car, my stomach growls reminding me that I haven't eaten since noon.

"Pizza?" I half ask and he nods heading to our local diner that literally has everything. I still do not understand how my parents know about our circle, and what we are able to do, but Nick did say that it was from our ancestors. I need to find some sort of proof before telling anyone, my memory might've been a trick after all, I just don't know. I sigh and close my eyes, as the minutes pass we reach the diner.

We head inside and order a large margarita pizza. "What might happen if people know about us?" I ask Alex as our waiter brings us our drinks."Well unless they don't tell anyone else without our permission then it's alright but if they do then they may be cursed, so it's always best if nobody else knows," he explains with his accent that I love. "You know how we agreed to start the ceremony next week?" I question and he nods for me to go on "I think I'm ready, we can start it after tomorrow or something," I say "alright, I'll tell Nick when we get back. Also if you want to, we can go to the cabin tomorrow so I can teach you some more spells and you can do some by yourself," he suggests and I can't stop the sheepish smile on my face, "Yes I'd love to," I assure him and he blushes.
Why is he the one blushing when he's the one causing the butterflies in my stomach?

Our pizza arrives and we both literally dive in, I laugh and wipe the tomato sauce off of his nose as he chuckles lightly.

I almost forgot to ask him what was wrong with him. "Alex, I feel like you're feeling down these few days. Are you okay?" I ask him shyly. He coughs a few times as though he's caught off guard by my question. "Uh no I'm fine really," he says a little too fast, I just decide not to push him. We finish our pizza and Alex orders the bill, I tell him that I should pay half but he refuses and we leave back to my house.

Before we get back home he tells me that he had a great time and so do I. When we get home the rest are watching a movie. Iris is peacefully asleep cuddling with Nick, and the rest don't seem to acknowledge us when we sit next to them.

Feeling tired I tell them goodnight but only Alex seems to hear me as he smiles looking gorgeous under the dim light. I head to my bathroom to brush my teeth and change to my comfortable pajamas.

I slightly jump when I go back to my room to see Iris sitting at the end of my bed. "How was your date?" She squeals while clapping her hands, I blush and lay down on my bed trying hard to hide my face from her. "it wasn't a date, although I wish it was." I say mumbling the last part to myself. "Come on, we both know you and Alex have a thing." she says rolling her eyes. "I do have a thing for him, but I'm sure he doesn't have it for me," I sigh, "Suurree, that's why he can't take his eyes off of you," I hope it's true.

"Anyway, can I ask you something?" I question, changing the subject. "of course," she says sweetly. "Is there anything that shows us our family line or something?" I ask hesitantly, but what if they checked it before and found nothing odd? "Yes, it's in the cabin, the title is 'Lines of Family'. why?" I'll have to check it tomorrow, I should probably go earlier than Alex so he doesn't worry about it. "Just curious," I tell her with a shrug. "I'm going to sleep, good night Vi." she says with a kiss on my cheek, "Good night Iris,"
