I turned to leave, then looked back at the Onceler. He looked so happy reading and signing contracts. He looked up to see me staring again.

"Y/N? Are you okay?" "I'll  ask you  later."

I left and went to change into a pretty outfit. I ran outside and took Melvin and the Cart into town. It had been a little while since I had been in town. Actually, the last  time had been with the Onceler. I gave Melvin an apple and walked into a small boutique. The boutique was small and a lady at the front of the room wearing a long flowing dress with some heels and a thneed greeted me warmly. "Hi Darling, what can I get you?" "Oh I don't kn-" I turned and a saw a pretty white sleeveless dress with lace around the top. It had a black ribbon and a small white bow. There was folds in the area of the bra that made it look like two seashells. It was perfect. I bought it.

At home I stood in front of my mirror and looked at myself in the dress. I thought it looked pretty. Maybe I could pair it with some plain thin metal bracelets. I had black heels and a delicate necklace. I put jewel earrings in and curled the end of my hair.

There was a knock on the door. The Onceler was on the other side of the door after I opened it.

"H- hey." He looked at me in a way he never had before. It was strange, though it almost looked  like he was in awe of me. I didn't pay attention though.

"Hi, you look really good," I said. He did. "Thank you," He said and then stopped a moment. "Before we go, I want to show you something." He opened his office door and did a little jig as he walked over to his shelf. He pulled off a hinged panel and behind it lay a shiny, new guitar. It was magnificent. "Wow!" I said. He held it up to me and i felt the smooth varnish. "This is really nice? Where did you get it?" "It was specially made for me. A gift. A fan made if for me. It really suited him and he played a quick tune. He hadn't played guitar in a while and I had forgotten how well he played.

"Let's go," he said putting it away, snapping me out of my trance. He held my waist and began walking down the hall.

He took his hand off my waist. "Sorry," "Don't apologize," I said and took his gloved hand and put it around my waist casually.

We stepped into the limo. It was white. I saw Isabella sitting in there frowning. "Goodness, Oncie, I thought you were going to be late. You do understannd how  important this is, right, Oncie?"

"Yes, Momma."

Isabella looked at me and seemed annoyed. Like she thought it was my fault we could've been late.

"You're going to do great Oncie. Just keep that winning smile on. The photographers will love that."

The Onceler looked nervous. I didn't want to ask him about it though. He would probably deny it. He just looked so cute. And I didn't want him to worry, though I couldn't say anything inn front of his mom. Especially since I was worried I wouldn't know what to say, and it would be obvious that I liked him in a more than friendly kind of way. Yeah, I liked him. And I couldn't deny it anymore.
