I was smiling a bit. And so was the Onceler. I back up. "Remember what I said tonight, ok?"

The Onceler nodded and stood up after leaning on his desk and looked over me. His blue eyes mesmerizing. He's gorgeous. I left the room.

I flopped on my bed in my room and squeezed my pillow, squealing.

The Lorax startled me. He was sitting on my bedside table. "What are you so excited about, kid?" He looked at me skeptically. "I've done the math. More than half the trees are gone. And at this rate, we've got 2 months tops. Maybe 4. Have you talked to the Onceler?"

I looked away. "No,"

"I already thought so. You look too happy. Did he kiss you or something?"

"He did actually." I said. "I'm gonna talk to him at some point. I will!"

The Lorax shook his head. "I'm going to check on the Barbaloots. Me telling you the same thing over and over won't make a difference. Just... goodnight."

I watched him go into the hallway and shut the door behind him. I locked it. He was right. I hoped the Onceler would listen to what I said, before I would continue to talk to him about changing the Thneed tm buisness model. I really am in love with the Onceler. I'm scared for the future though.

I took a shower and looked at myself in the mirrior. I'm happy.

I leave my bathroom and hear a knock on the door. I open the door. The Onceler is in his pjs. He kisses me. "You're so beautiful Y/N,"

He then closes the door for me and I hear him walk back to his room while I stand there stunned. Three kisses in one night.
