Ashley was sitting in her garden, basking in the warm glow of the setting sun. The vibrant colors of the flowers around her seemed even more vivid in the golden light, and the tranquility of the moment filled her with a deep sense of peace. As she admired the beauty of her surroundings, she suddenly heard a faint noise behind her.

Turning around, Ashley's heart skipped a beat. Standing there, bathed in the soft light of the sunset, were her parents, David and Lori. They looked just as she remembered them, their faces filled with warmth and love.

"Mom? Dad? What are you doing here?" Ashley asked, her voice a mix of shock and joy.

David stepped forward, his smile broadening. "Ashley, we've come to see you. We've been watching over you, just like we watch over Austin and Emma."

Lori nodded, her eyes twinkling with affection. "We wanted to tell you how proud we are of you, Ashley. You've done so much for this family, and you've kept the spirit of love and togetherness alive."

Ashley felt a surge of emotions as tears welled up in her eyes. "I miss you both so much," she whispered, stepping closer to them.

David placed a gentle hand on her shoulder. "We know, sweetheart. But we're always with you, even if you can't see us."

Lori added, "You've been such a wonderful sister, daughter, and aunt. Your kindness and strength have been a guiding light for this family."

They stood together, reminiscing about the past and sharing stories of love and laughter. Ashley felt an overwhelming sense of comfort and connection, as if all the years of separation had melted away.

As the conversation began to wind down, Ashley hugged her parents tightly, savoring the moment. "Thank you for coming to see me," she said softly. "I love you both so much."
