Tensura: The Slime and the Hybrid

I was joined by Shuna who was already walking to the assembly building. But during the walk, I noticed that she was shivering and sneezing a bit from the cold.

Blake: You okay?

Shuna: Y-Yes, it's just really cold...

Blake: That's because it's literally snowy out and you're wearing nothing but a kimono.

Shuna: Don't worry-

Before she could finish, she felt a large soft feeling of warmth over her and noticed that Blake had given up his furred coat and wrapped it around her.

Blake: This should cover you for now.

Shuna M-My Lor-

Blake: What? If it's still too cold, I can always wrap one of my wings around yo-

Shuna: No! No! T-This is fine. Thank you.

I just shrugged while Shuna had been reduced to a blushing mess.

Eventually, the two of us came across Rigurd with a bunch of other Hobgoblins shoveling the snow out of the pathway towards the government building.

Shuna: Hey there Rigurd! Have you seen Lord Rimuru?

Rigurd: No, I'm afraid not. But if I do, then I'll let him know you were looking for him.

While Shuna was wondering about Rimuru's location, I noticed that one of the windows on the upper floor of the government building was open. Actually, it seemed to be connected to the office Rimuru and I work at.

Blake: ...There's no way.

Shuna: My lord?

I walked to Rigurd and halted his shoveling before digging into the snow with my bears hands.

After a few seconds, a familiar looking ball of frost rolled out of the snow.

Rimuru: Hi...

Rigurd: L-Lord Rimuru?!

Shuna: What are you doing buried in the snow?!

Rimuru: ...It was a little deeper then I thought. That was scary.

Blake: Your completely frozen...

After that, we headed inside the government building to unfreeze Rimuru.

Rimuru: So this is a heavy snowfall area?! No one told me that!

Shuna: Yes, the forest of Jura is actually pretty well known for it's unpredictable climate.

Rimuru: We're gonna have to really shovel the snow out, so we can get any work done...

Blake: What do you think Rigurd and the Hobgoblins are doing right now?

Shion: What's wrong with that? I love the snow! Every time it happened, I would always go out and play half naked all the time! Surprising I know.

Rimuru: Yeah, I knew a dumb kid who did that a lot.

While they were laughing at their shared memories of winter, Shuna complained.

Shuna: I don't think it's a laughing matter! You nearly froze to death after getting buried once time.

Shion: Yes, but... I just can't resist diving into fresh untouched snow! Can you seriously!?

It was this statement that made Rimuru realize something.

Rimuru: Wait... I'm on her level?

Blake: A match made in hfil.

Rimuru: Quiet!
