Our first day of camp was just as fun as I remembered. We had no worries or problems. I was really glad Admira and everyone were getting along, we just hung out all day doing fun things with our friends, except I'd been avoiding Demi. Just like how I did on my first day of camp last year, but it bothered me seeing her with all the other kids. I was a little bit jealous of the attention she was giving everyone else, I obviously couldn't say anything about it though because she was just doing her job, she was a camp leader. but I wanted to do something that would get her attention.
I knew that last year one of the ways I did that was with boys, But that was off the table this year because I'm with Admira and Demi adores her. Whatever I did, I wanted to get caught, so I couldn't involve my friends. I wouldn't want them to get in trouble.

"its only the first day and I'm already exhausted" Jess yawned as we walked back into our room after dinner "I'll probably fall asleep during the movie tonight" Maddie added. Thats it, that would be a good time to get Demis attention, everyone would be watching the movie "what movie are we watching?" Admira asked "we don't usually find out till we get there, its usually a Disney movie though" Maddie answered.

We headed down to the main lobby about an hour later, where we were all meeting for the movie night "wow!" Admira gushed as she saw the set up. It was pretty much the same as last year. with fairy lights, bean bags and cushions, Lolli bags everywhere and the smell of the popcorn machine in the back corner filled the room "I know, they really out do themselves" Ava smiled.

we all sat down right in the middle as the room filled up and got louder with all the kids joining us. While we were waiting I looked around the room for Demi she wasn't here yet, I sighed "good evening everyone!" Zeke shouted trying to get everyones attention. It took him a few tries but eventually he got everyone to be quiet "I know your all tired after your first day, which is why we're just gonna relax and watch a movie before bed-" Zeke started "just tell us what we're watching" Matt jokingly interrupted "alright no popcorn for you" Zeke laughed "we're going to be watching inside out" he was again interrupted by excited cheers as the movie started playing. Poor Zeke, I chuckled to myself as he went and took a seat.

We were about 15 minutes into the movie, Admira had her head resting in my lap and I was stroking her beautiful soft, shiny hair. I looked around and saw Demi sitting at the back with some of the older kids "I need to go stretch my legs" I whispered to Admira. I got up and left the room hoping Demi would notice and come follow me, then we could have some time together to talk.

It was kind of scary out here at night all alone. I didn't wanna go to far from everyone, I ended up going to sit by the lake. I sat and waited, hoping Demi would come out and look for me showing that she still cares about me. I waited about 10 minutes, she hadn't come yet. that was weird, she was usually right on my tail. I took a smoke out of my pocket and lit it up. waiting another 10 minutes.

I started feeling really tired as I waited and waited, I'd been waiting a while. finally I looked up when I heard a door open and saw someone walk out, but it wasn't Demi. In fact it wasn't even a camp leader, it was the kids. the movie had finished and everyone was heading back to their lobbies.. what? Demi never noticed I was gone? or did she and she just didn't care anymore. I saw Maddie point to me as my friends walked out the door, I stood up as they all started walking over to me "hey guys" I said feeling really sorry for myself "what happened? you didn't come back" Tyler asked "I just needed some air" I answered then walked towards the lobby ahead of everyone. I wasn't in the mood to talk to anyone "hey whats wrong?" Admira asked putting her hand on my shoulder as she caught up. I brushed her hand off my shoulder "its nothing" I mumbled. I heard her sigh and I felt a little bad.

when we reached our lobby I went straight to our room and got into bed. Everyone else was still out in the lounge part having hot chocolate and cookies, so I was alone. which was fine by me. I quietly cried to myself. why am I such a fuck up, I shouldn't even be here.
