Romano's POV

"Don't say I didn't warn you.", was the last thing I told her as she stood there in shock, unable to comprehend what happened.

I had fallen under this girl's tricks. She's not even little anymore. My mind went blank. I know it's wrong to give in...especially if she's Kai's treasured sister. Kai is my only friend.

"Damn it.", I mumbled as she looked away shyly.

"Screw it. Screw it all.", I said.

I kissed her deeply. I placed my hand on the nape of her neck and the other hand snaked around her waist as she wrapped her arms around my neck.

I opened my mouth to say something but I had absolutely no idea what to say. Sofia always had her way to make me lose my cool. To get angry, impatient, childish and wanting to be gentle to her.

"I should get going.", she said, clearing her throat.

"Sofia...", I called out for her but it was barely audible.

Damn it. I knew why. It all clicked in my head. Sofia turned the door knob and opened it slightly but I closed it shut.

"Sofia... just hear me out...", I said softly.

I watched as she didn't turn around to face me,her head hung low. I had absolutely no idea what to do. She doesn't know how happy I was when she first confessed to me. I wanted to pull her into my arms and never let go, as my attraction towards her grew more and more intense.

I placed one arm across her shoulders and chest while the other held her tight to hug her from the back. I felt her arm reaching out to touch mine but she clenched her fist and put her hand back down.

Instead she pulled my hands away and turned around. She looked at me with a confused and sad look on her face.

"It's about my brother... isn't it?", Sofia asked with a sweet yet hurt smile on her face.

I kept quiet.

"It was your first kiss...wasn't it?", I asked.

Sofia took a deep breath in and kept quiet.

"Sofia...it's not what you think-", I was cut off by her leaving and slamming the door.

"Hey cousin! Why don't you sing a song for us! There's also an opera singer who is interested in meeting you, I hope that you didn't mind that I did such things.", Erin exclaimed as she clung onto Sofia's hand. "Wait, where were you? You have a smell of a man's cologne on you."

Sofia's face flushed in embarrassment as she tried to pull away from Erin who was trying to humiliate her.

"Oh, welcome back, Romano!", Erin shrieked as the name which made Sofia flinched.

Erin glanced at Sofia and Romano who were unable to make eye contact with each other.

Sofia noticed Erin's facial expression and frowned.

"You know what, I think I'll sing. After all, it'll most probably be better than some squeaky frogs.", Sofia whispered the last part softly in Erin's ear before taking the mic from her and standing on the stage.

Sofia whispered something in the opera singer's ear before raising the mic to her lips. Romano looked at the singer to see that his eyes were widened.

The music began to play in the theatre room, the dark yet intriguing melody played, gaining everyone's attention.

"No way... she can't be serious.", Romano muttered under his breath as he walked to the front row seat.

"In sleep he sang to me...in dreams he came...that voice which calls to me and speaks my name...", Sofia began singing as she enacted the emotions of her favourite character in the classic movie, Phantom of the opera.
