"I'm fine grandpa. Jin is taking good care of me. He's a really good friend.", Sofia chuckled as she spoke to her grandfather.
"How are your legs doing after the accident...?", his voice trailed off and Sofia hesitated for a moment.
"It's...it's getting stronger...", Sofia answered as she tucked the phone between her shoulder and ear while she tied her hair up.
"That's good news. You should be careful, Erin began getting suspicious.", Sofia's grandfather said.
"Don't worry about her, she can get as suspicious as she wants...but she won't figure out I'm still alive.", Sofia said.
"Just take it easy, okay kiddo?", he stated.
"Yeah, I'll talk to you soon grandpa...bye.", Sofia cut the call as she walked down an aisle in the mall and accidently bumped into someone.
"Shit, I'm so sorry.", Sofia chuckled embarrassed and lifted her head up to meet a pair of captivating hazel brown eyes.
"It's okay don't worry, it's my fault, I didn't watch where I was going.", the man responded as he rubbed the back of his neck.
Sofia felt hypnotised by his eyes and cleared her throat quickly.
"Uhm...ahem. I...it's fine...", Sofia said softly as her heart began to pound.
(What the hell is wrong with me...? Why am I being like this...the only person who I feel like this for is Romano- No...don't think about him Sof...you're staying away from him to protect him...), Sofia thought.
"Uhm...miss? Is everything fine?", the man asked as a light unnoticeable blush creeped up on his face.
Sofia blinked several times before responding.
"Yeah...I'm fine.", Sofia smiled a little.
"Well...is it okay that I'd take you out for a coffee make up for it?", the man asked. "Or is it too soon?"
Sofia chuckled softly as her dimples pressed in.
"A little too soon and too cheesy for my taste.", Sofia laughed. "How about we start off with introductions first?"
(What is going on with me? What am I even saying!), she thought to herself.
"My name is Jason Steele. I work as a journalist or photographer part time.", Jason stretched his hand out for a handshake.
"I'm Sof- Ahem ...Belle Delphine. Hmm...you're American? What is an American doing so far away from home to be here in Japan?", Sofia asked as she shook his hand.
"To be honest...I just had this gut feeling to come here...it was like a natural instinct if you know what I mean...I don't even understand why I came here in the first place. What about you?", Jason asked.
"Oh, I just live around here.", Sofia answered as she put her hands in her hoodie pocket and shrugged casually.
"Now...would it be okay if I could take you out somewhere to make it up to you?", Jason asked.
"Sure." Sofia chuckled.
The present
"Sorry, wrong room!", Sofia exclaimed as she quickly swiveled on her foot and accidentally slipped on the water, falling back.
Sofia shut her eyes tight preparing for an impact but opened it slowly as she could feel her body being held up. She looked at Romano whose hands were under her arms, firmly supporting and holding her upright.
"T-thank you.", Sofia quickly said before pulling away.
"What are you doing here?", Romano asked after Sofia pulled away and glared at him and crossed his arms.
"This was supposed to be Reigna's room...", Sofia's voice trailed off as she looked around the room.
"Reigna's room is not on this floor.",Romano stated as he gave a bitter smile. "So you can get out now."
"That is...", Romano's voice trailed off as he smirked slyly and walked towards her, causing Sofia to instinctively walk backwards until her back hit the wall, Romano smirked as he placed his arms on the wall, trapping her and leaning close to her ear. "That is only if you're done ogling me.", Romano whispered softly in her ear as his breath fanned her ear causing her ears to become hot and red.
Sofia looked away flustered and pressed her hands on his chest glaring at him.
"I think I'm done about now...in fact...", Sofia's voice trailed off as she smirked slyly and stood on her tiptoes leaning in to whisper in his ear. "In fact...there's not much to see and not much worth looking at.", Sofia batted her eyelashes innocently before walking out of the room.
Sofia leaned against the wall as she panted while she tried to calm her heart.
"Damn...", Sofia muttered.

"Unbelievable!", Sofia exclaimed as she threw her head back in laughter.
"No, it's actually quite true.", Jason replied.
Jason's phone buzzed on the table and he noticed it.
"Sorry, I gotta take this call.", Jason apologised.
"Sure.", Sofia chuckled softly.
"Yes sir, I'm working on it. I just need some time.", Jason said as he ran a hand through his hair after answering the call in a secluded area.
"You sound stressed, what's wrong?", the man asked on the other side of the call.
"I'm fine...", Jason answered.
The man chuckled on the other end on the phone.
"She's your mate, isn't she?", the man questioned.
Jason sighed as he ran a hand through his hair.
"I'll get someone else to do the mission.", the man said.
"No! It's fine, I can do it, I just need time.", Jason huffed out.
"Okay. Don't let her compromise your judgement. She's very dangerous and extremely armed. Don't underestimate her.", the man said.
"Got it."
