"We're done here. We'll come back soon. Okay, I'll call you back later. Bye.", Kai cut the call as he walked out through the back entrance to look for Romano.
"Hey, Romano-", Kai froze midway through his sentence when he saw Romano leaning in towards Sofia and how his gaze lingered on her lips as his grip around her wrists tightened.
They all froze, staring at each other wide-eyed but Sofia quickly headbutt Romano and shoved him away, walking past Kai and back into the club.
"Is everything okay...?", Kai asked.
Romano clenched his jaws and leaned his fist against the wall with his head hung low as his chest heaved.
"Yeah...I'll be right there.", Romano answered, indicating for Kai to leave.
"Got it.", Kai said before leaving, leaving Romano deep in his thoughts and sigh.
Later on
"I guess we haven't formally introduced you to everyone. Go with Alek, he'll help.", Romano told Sofia as they entered the mansion.
"Why? Are you scared that you'd end up finishing off what you started?", Sofia asked innocently while she smirked internally.
Romano stopped walking and sighed out as his jaw ticked.
"Fine. I'll take you myself.", he gritted. "Also...you will be living here, in the mansion for the time being."
"What! Why!", Sofia exclaimed. "I already booked a hotel suite!"
"And imagine how the circus of clowns would feel if I had my fiance sleeping in a hotel alone.", Romano stated.
"Argh...Fine!", Sofia grumbled.

"Guys, this is Belle Delphine.", Romano huffed out as he pinched the bridge of his nose, causing Sofia to internally glare at his behaviour.
(Tsk...if he only knew...), Sofia thought to herself.
"No ways...You're that lady from Japan!", Kayla explained as she got up from her seat and walked towards Sofia.
"Uhm...I don't remember you...", Sofia acted confused.
"Don't you remember? The club?", Kayla accidentally blurted out and her eyes widened in realisation at what she said.
"Wait. You said 'club'?", Kai glared at Kayla and Kayla laughed nervously as she looked at Romano for help, but he played dumb and her head immediately turned to Sofia desperately.
Sofia's eyes widened, telling Kayla not to get her involved but Kayla pleaded desperately with her eyes. Sofia sighed and quickly changed her facial expression. Unaware that even though Romano poured a drink for himself, he watched her closely.
"Oh! The reading club, right? You're that girl, Kayla!",Sofia exclaimed, causing Romano to choke on his drink at Sofia's quick change of attitude.
"Yes! You finally remember!", Kayla squealed and subtly sighed in relief.
"Kai! This is my friend, Belle!", Kayla exclaimed cheerfully as she introduced her brother to Sofia.
Sofia stiffened up slightly as Kai stretched his hand out for a handshake. Sofia locked eyes with her brother's and hesitantly shook his hand, gulping hard as she felt her throat tighten like she was being choked as she held her tears back.
"It's nice to officially meet you, Kai.", Sofia smiled gracefully.
"Arghhh!", Reigna stretched and yawned as she walked down the staircase, Kai began to watch her from the side of his eyes, quietly.
