"I already told you she's dead!", Alekso yelled as he struggled to break free. "Let Kayla go!", he demanded.

The interrogator nodded at the man who was holding Kayla. The man immediately shoved her on the ground and began booting her.

"Stop!", Alekso cried out and the interrogator stopped the man.

"It doesn't work so easily.", the interrogator chuckled. "You were one of the few people to see her this week. Sofia...she is a sociopathic murderer who only sees for herself. Are you sure that you want to protect someone like that?"

"Wait...this week...?", Alekso frowned in confusion. "The only person I've recently met is...", Alekso's voice trailed off as he froze and his eyes widened when he began to put the pieces together.

"Speak up.", The interrogator commanded.

Alekso looked at him dumbfounded and bursted into laughter with anger and bitterness.

"Continue.", the interrogator nodded to the man.

The man then grabbed Kayla by her hair and was about to smash her face to the ground.

"Wait!", the interrogator exclaimed.

Everyone remained silent in the room when they heard a ticking noise.

"It's a bomb!", the man screamed as they tried to run away but it soon exploded.

Romano kicked the door open with a gun in his hand, swiftly taking out the interrogator and then the man who held Kayla captive by shooting him in the head.

"Let's go.", Romano stated as he shot off the lock that chained Alekso up and he picked up Kayla.

"I'll carry her.", Alekso stated. "You should drive."

Romano nodded.

"Sof, stop pacing around, it's not going to change anything.", Marcus shrugged nonchalantly.

Sofia sighed and ran a hand through her hair.

"I should have gone with him.", Sofia mumbled.

"It would have been suspicious. But no need to worry, they just arrived.", Marcus nudged her.

"Oh thank goodness.", Sofia sighed in relief.

She bounced off the wall and took a step forward before Marcus held her arm.

"Sof...you're not her sister anymore. Remember that. You're her sister's boyfriend thief...you have to live up to that. If you don't...all your years of hard work will go to waste...In that case, you should have rather spent it with Jason.", Marcus said softly.

Sofia sighed softly, realising that Marcus has a point.

"You're right.", Sofia mumbled softly.

"I don't belong to the Crimsons or Giovannis anymore."

Sofia walked towards the race car along with Marcus. Alekso clenched his fists as he saw Sofia, who stole a glance at Kayla and her eyes softened immediately before she regained her composure and maintained her facade. Alekso's fists relaxed as he saw the way Sofia looked at Kayla.

"Take Kayla to the nearest hospital and contact her father. Call me once you've reached the hospital and if there's any issues.", Romano stated before rushing off.

With no hesitation, Alekso got in the driver's seat and drove off.

The flag was waved and immediately Marcus and Sofia sped off into the midst of dust. Romano panted as he managed to spot Sofia.
