It is the soft water that wears away the hard rocks.
The tongue outlasted the tongue.
Hardness and confrontation are brittle and destructive.
Softness and a gentle manner of thinking are life enriching.

Since Lan Zhan and Wei Ying studied the ancient scroll of Tai Chi, they had finally found something to center themselves. A way to completely clear their minds and make it stronger against their fears. They started to meditate every morning and evening ,pulling strength from within. The triplets who saw what their parents were doing even though they did not understand copied them with small little determined frowns between their brows and concentrated looks on their faces.

The aunties found them so adorable and would chuckle softly every time they saw them sitting in front of their parents. But they are still small and get bored quickly and would get up and go and play outside or fall asleep where they were seated and the aunties would pick them up and take them to their bedroom. Other times, the three would climb onto their parents' laps and whine until the two stop their meditation and play with them, which always brought smiles and laughter to their little rabbits' faces.

It is during times and days like these that the two would lie awake deep into the night and talk about what they had lost. The little one they never got to meet. Not knowing what he would've looked like, but somewhere deep down, they knew that he would've never been theirs. They would've never been able to hold him or care for him because he would've been taken away and raised by others.

It's on nights like these that they would cry silently as the pain and ache in their hearts became too much for them to bear. But it's also on these nights that their three children would walk into their bedroom and climb into bed with them, and as soon as they do, their parents would pull them close, and would place soft and loving kisses on their little faces and whispers soft loving words to them. That's how they would wake up on most mornings with their babies between them and as they look at them. They would silently thank the gods above for their blessings.

Wei Ying and Lan Zhan would make their way towards the training grounds every morning after they had meditated and had their breakfast with their three little soldiers. Dress in loose white pants and shirts. The aunties and Ava would watch on with pride and joy. Even though Wei Ying and Lan Zhan's sessions with Ava and Aunty Mei weren't finished yet, they allowed them the time to grow and become stronger.

Aunty Luo would join them and take up the front. They all would take on the stance that is the beginning of a martial arts form. Their legs bent, and their feet planted. Their shoulders width apart and pull in and out long breaths as their arms rise and fall with the movement of their chest.

They moved slow and steady, like waves lapping against the bank of the shore. Their feet move in slow, sweeping motions across the ground like water, fluid, and ceaseless. They moved as one body of water as they went through the motions of their movements. Their faces pulled in pure concentration even the three little ones bodies moved as if they were born to do this. With discipline, devotion, and dedication, they went through the motions as their bodies sways with each sweep of their feet and the rise and fall of their chests.

As the weeks turned into months they felt their spiritual ports open more and they started to feel a greater connection to life itself and an increase in the awareness of their inner world and the willingness to let go of what was. Their past. Their pain and hurt and all that bound them to the shackles of the past and they let go of it all and trust grew within themselves and they let the flow of the movements carry them.

Li Jing and A-Yuan and Li Na even though they were small they grew with each montion and movement. They started at such a small age, and unknowingly, they started to lay a strong foundation for their spiritual core. Their little legs and arms carried every motion and movement with absolute precision as they followed the guidance of Aunty Luo and their parents. Aunty Lin watched them with a sense of pride and knowing, and she wasn't the only one.
