The Lan disciples spread out around the five their robes flowing ever so soft and gracefully as they formed a circle around the family of five and pointed their swords at them. The five who had moved and stood back to back their swords ready and eager at their sides as they watched the disciples spread out around them. Lan Xichen turned towards his mate Jin Guangyoa and whispered.
"A-Yoa, go, and as soon as you get to the hanshi, erect the barrier around it, and as soon as you get inside, lock the door behind you."
Jin Guangyoa had tears in his eyes as he listened to his mates' request.
"Shh, don't cry. I will come to you as soon as I can. I promise. Now go."
Lan Xichen assured his mate as he kissed him on the lips and gently pushed him to go. Jin Guangyoa knew even before he started to walk away that there was no way that his mate would be able to keep his promise, and yet he walked away, making his way towards the hanshi. Lan Wangji and Wei Wuxian's eyes followed the small man as he walked away with identical smirks on their faces, a promise that Jin Guangyoa would not live to see another day just like the rest of those standing against them.
Lan Xichen's eyes also followed his mates, retreating back before he returned it towards five people who were patiently waiting for the fight to begin. He lifted his sword and pointed it towards the family a silent indication that they would not leave with his son or Meiren. The disciples, Lan Qiren and some of the elders who were still angry at the two with their sect leader took on their fighting stances as their eyes bored holes into the faces of the five people inside the circle.
Today, the gusulan clan would feel and experience the full wrath of the Alpha and his omega. They let their scent out and let it waft through the courtyard reeking of anger as their eyes turned a crimson red making the sect leader , his uncle, some of the elders and the Lan disciples felt a chilling fear running through their every bone. Both Lan Zhan and Wei Ying did not care anymore what they did to them back then the only thing they are truly angry about at this very moment are the fact that they tried to kill Meiren and robbed Guo from his mother.
So today, they will stand and fight and seek justice for Meiren and her son. The blood that will be spilled today will be for them and nobody else, not even for them and what they had to endure at the hands of these so-called righteous people. For the first time, they let their full power out. Let them feel and see it. Let they know that Lan Wangji and Wei Wuxian are not to be messed with. Not anymore. An angry and powerful growl vibrated through the courtyard, making the ground beneath everyone's feet shaken dangerously. The Lans stammered backward as their eyes grew wide, and fear gripped their insides when they saw the looks on the faces of the five people standing inside the circle.
They started to gather all the energy around them and, in doing so, their swords started to glow with all the energy being fed to it, and so were their golden cores, making the five look like immortals as they slowly start to move around each other their eyes never leaving their opponents who was standing with shock looks on their faces as the realization starts to dawn on them at just how powerful this family was. They moved as one being their feet, almost never touching the ground beneath it their robes flowed gently around them as they. It almost looked as if they were doing a seductive dance as their bodies flowed like water.
Lan Xichen had just enough time to yell at the Lans to be ready when bichen sliced through the air in an arc motion, coming down hard just almost cutting the Lan sect leader in half as he raised Shuo Yue just in time to block the onslaught. He gritted his teeth hard when he felt the power with which Lan Wangji had brought bichen down on him. Lan Wangji pushed him back hard, making Xichen slide backward on his feet. Lan Wangji jumped back, giving the man time to recover before going on the attack once again.
