Chapter 22

Somehow I managed to find myself in the same compromising situation I was in last weekend drunk and a mess.

I was out this time with just Mara and Camilo, we were only out because Camilo had been trying his luck with this girl Lucia. It was safe to say it was working.

"Mara, Mara! Tequila sunrise for you." I say handing her the drink as she walks back up to the bar with me

"Thank you lovely. I spy a baddie over there. See the brunette over there." She asks me leaning over and pointing to a guy that I could admit was very cute

But the whole time I could only think of Pedri. Some people say distance heals, distance makes me crave the person. And given I was drunk I so badly wanted to call him.

"Are you going to talk to him?" I ask and she nods and downs the Beverage and stands up

"Do I look good?" She asks running hands over her green dress that was stunning

"You look hot, per usual." I say and she smiles

"As do you, that dress looks awfully familiar." She says

The dress was a silver mini dress that dipped on the chest and was open back. It was again extremely stunning and I felt amazing wearing it.

"Renee's- she's out with ale tonight so I got full access to her closet, and it matched the shoes I wanted to wear." I say and she nods

"Okay, I'm going to go talk to him. You gonna be okay?" She asks

"Yeah, be safe mar." I say and she kisses my cheek and walks over to the guy

Mara was one of the most charming girls in our group because her aura was that of confidence. So it didn't take long for her to begin dancing with the guy and I laughed to myself.

I grabbed out my phone and began texting in the girls group chat about maras new man when I got a phone call from Mariana.

"Helllo Mari, what's up babe!" I ask her as I answer the phone

"Are you out right now?" She asks me

"Yeah, my friends are trying to get dates and I'm the sad drunk." I laugh leaning back against the bar

"No pedri today?" She asks

"No, I wish though. It's weird, i was the one who asked for space. And yet I miss him so much." I complain and she laughs

"Crave his touch or him?" She asks

"Both?" I say in a questioning tone

"Anyway, I called because my family has a house in Morocco and I wanted to ask if you wanted to come with us when we go in June. My parents really want to meet you because I talk about you a lot." She explains and I laugh

"I am pretty great right. But yeah no of course I would love to come with you." I say

"Good good, I'll call you tomorrow when your sober, so you can remember the trip details. But let me leave you with this, if you miss Pedri as you say you do give him a call. Liquid courage they call it right?" She chuckles and I laugh

"Love you Mari, I'll call you." I say

"Love you, be safe" she says and hangs up

I decided to take the girls advice and take my leave, it wasn't to late only 11:20 so I went to find Camilo first to tell him I was going.

When I found him I found him in a compromising position with the girl Lucia up against the wall and the two of them... let's just say exploring eachothers mouths
