Chapter 13

11:27 pm

"Pedri." I whisper trying to wake him up because I had to go

"Pedri." I say a little louder and nudge him

"Hm" he hums and flutters his eyes open

He still had his arms wrapped around my body as I believe we did briefly fall asleep while watching a movie but I got up before him.

"I have to go, I have class early tomorrow." I say as he nods and unwraps his arms and I get up as does he.

We walk down the hallway and to the front door and I grab my wallet from the table. " I'll see you when I get back." I say

"Have a safe trip he says and pulls me into a hug, I hug him back momentarily before we split and I wave goodbye as I exit his house and go back to my car.

"Ok that was weird" I say to myself, but not as weird as me literally talking to myself. Maybe I just need to be home and talk to an actual human and I feel more sane when I'm with Renee anyway.

"You'll never guess what happened" I say busting into Renee's room as she's awake with the tv on.

"What happened?" She asks

"So I'm just talking to pedri, like I was telling a story and he just looked at me and it was weird. I got like this feeling and I don't know how to describe it because it's new but yeah." I say as she nods at me with a grin

"Looks like miss no dating has feelings for pedri." She jeers as I roll my eyes

"I'm still not dating. It was one little feeling that I easily ignored so it's obviously not important to me" I shrug

"Ok Milan, I'm driving tomorrow morning so we gotta leave at 6:50 so we can get Nico on the way." She says as I nod and exit the room

I walk back to my room and throw my wallet on my desk and fall into my bed and lay still for a few minutes before I stand up and go change and brush my teeth.

Then I come back and get into my bed and lie down, my mind continuously goes back to the look. That look alone was making me feel ways I've never felt before in my life and I just couldn't figure it out.

I tried my best to block it out so I could go to sleep and be completely rested and after a while I did finally manage to doze off. But just as soon as I went to sleep my alarm was blaring telling me it was time to get myslef up.

I got up and made sure I had everything packed and went to my closet to change then to my bathroom to my brush my teeth and wash my face.

Then I go out to the kitchen and make coffee while I listen to some music. I hear Renee come out of her room and she smiles at me as I acknowledge her presence

"Good morning to you" she says as I grin

"You are awfully happy this morning." I say as she nods

"Last night was a good night." She grins cheekily as i flash confused eyes

"I don't think I want to know." I say as she nods

"I just got a much awaited apology from your best friend Alejandro so and I love being right so you're correct in saying I'm happy this morning." She says as I laugh

"Well that's great, now you be civil with eachother." I say

"Did you sleep on your pedri thing? Do you feel much better?" She asks

"I don't know, it was a long night" I shrug

"Yikes, well I hope you do figure out your confusing brain." She laughs as i roll my eyes
