Adam was sitting in his room, it was Night. He was currently reading when he heard a knock at the door. He closes the book and goes to check on who is knocking. He opened to find it was Nu, she was dressed as a student.

Adam: Come on in.
He lets her in, he sits in his chair. She enters his kitchen and begun to make him tea.
(I'm sure your all wondering why Tea every time they enter his room and thats the first thing they do)
Adam: Alpha instructed you to make the Tea?
Nu: Yes, she told me " Should you ever find yourself in Lord Cross Chambers, make sure you make a pot of tea for him. It calms his nerves whenever we give him a bad report. " Her words not mine.
Adam: .... I'll ... keep that in mind. She knows I can't say no to a pot of tea. Anyways did you learn anything else, I noticed you didn't go back right away.
Nu: You are correct, I didn't go back right away. I found another assailant , I managed to keep him alive long enough to interrogate back at Mitsugoshi. However , as you can surmise whoever is controlling them is killing them before-
Adam: Before they can spill the beans on why they're doing this. This Tactic while crude is the most effective, however these people.
He grips the arms rest of his chair. She places a cup of tea down for him, he reaches for it and grabs it.
Adam: Nu, be prepared for battle in the coming days.
She bows her head.
Nu: Yes, Lord Cross.
He takes a sip, he then noticed a different taste.
Adam: Lemon?
She smiled at him.
Nu: Yes, I used a recipe from my old life. I simply added Lemon to the Tea , it helps calms the nerves for me.
He nods , accepting how it tastes.
Adam: Exquisite.
She bows her head to him, she continued her report. She told him that a "Named Child of Diabolos " Was in the capital . She then told him how the named are created and chosen.
Adam: I see, Nu ... if you were to face such a child. Can you say that you'd win?
Nu: Lord Cross, I wouldn't hesitate . I'd kill him, before they unsheathe their blade.
He looks out of the corner of his eye to find Nu, smiling like she did last night.
Adam:Very Well... should the situation arise . It will be your job to deliver the prey.
She bows her head again.

The Next day , Matches was being held for everyone. It was a tournament to decide on who goes to the upcoming Bushin Festival that will be held in the next few months. Adam was in his room waiting , he looked over at his sword.
