As Adam, walked up into the VIP section . He looked around to find everyone mingling. 

Adam: For VIP , it's a bit of a let down... 

Adam was dressed in his school uniform. His sword was latched onto his hip. He found his seat, when he looked over at who he was sitting next to. 

Adam: What are the chances you and I are sitting together. 

She smiles at him.

Iris: Indeed, what are the chances. 

She gestured towards the seat next to her. He removed his sword , placing it between then. He sits down and waits for the fight to start. 

Iris: I heard your undefeated so far. 

Adam: Your not wrong, unfortunately. We wont be facing each other in the coming rounds. 

Iris smiles , she leans back in her chair.

Iris: You are indeed correct, You'll be facing your sister. But I thought she wasn't participating this year. 

Adam: Due to Princess Rose , she was next in line. It's only natural after all. Who will you be facing? 

Iris: Mundane Mann. I heard he won his fights in seconds. 

Adam: That's an understatement. I seem to recall  he defeated Quinton in seconds . Same with Annerose. 

Iris: I won't lose... 

Adam: But I gotta ask. Are you sure you don't mind sitting here with us? I mean being a princess and all , you got to have better seats than this? 

Iris: It's important for me to mingle with both my underclassmen and a fellow swordsman. 

He smiles as he turned his attention to a servant approaching. He ordered his beverage and the servant left. He then overheard Iris talking to the others about the War Goddess. 

Iris: There's an Elf sword master hailed as the War Goddess. She was the first champion of the Bushin Festival, and apparently she's here in the capital. 

Random1: An Elf Sword Master? You don't mean-

Random2: But she hasn't shown her face in public in over a decade. 

Iris smiles as she closes her eye. 

Iris: Every fighter in the tournament will be paying careful attention to what lady Beatrix is up to. 

Adam: I doubt it. Master has always been cautious . But when a strong opponent arrives, her craving to cross swords with them knows no bounds. 

All three of them looked at Adam when he called Beatrix "Master". He looked back at them , all three had shocked expressions. 

Adam: What? 

Iris: Your master was Lady Beatrix!? 

Random1: That's unreal! 

Random2 : I'd give up anything to train under her! 

A servant arrives with Adam's beverage. He hands him the cup and several cubes of sugar and milk.

Adam: Believe it or not, she found me training alone one day. She took me under wing as her student. She taught me how to wield the blade and everything. 

As Adam watches the fight, his mind begun to wander off about the information he learned about Mundane and Cid...

Adam: .... 

While he was distracted, he didn't notice someone approaching him. Everyone was shocked at who it was. She stopped by him. He looked over , a shocked expression formed on his face.
