Desire in Shadows

Darkness Destroy!

As the area , shook Alpha and Yukime watched the battle between Cross and Shadow unfold. The two battled, Cross using his tails to block Shadows slime attack. While Shadow dodges the shots fired from Cross's weapon. The both crosses blades , Shadow using the slime from his suit to hold the other sword back.

Cross: .... 

Shadow: You've been awfully quiet, what got nothing to say.

He pushes him, back Cross uses his tails to stop himself.

Cross: I don't need to speak to a corpse.... 

Cross: Especially since its...

As the two battled, Alpha noticed something.

Alpha: Lord Cross.... he's conflicted right now... 

She watched as she noticed Cross had several opportune moments to end it. She watches as Cross aimed his sword at Shadow, he sped towards him he was about to pull the trigger but didn't. Shadow smiled as he begun a flurry of attacks, Cross held his swords up blocking the attack. 

Alpha: ..... I... I might have too... 

As Cross jumped back his tails, stabbed the ground before Shadow. He stopped in his tracks as he looked at him, Cross was then hurled towards him. He managed to hurt Shadow, a piece of his hood was missing. His cheek had a deep cut on it. 

Cross: Shadow... why are you doing this? What's the point of it all? 

He stood up as his cheek healed. The Slime was unable to heal, he tried to use his magic but the slime still wasn't responding. 

Shadow: Your swords are real annoying you know. 

Cross lifts his sword, pointing it at Shadow. 

Cross: Don't ignore the question. I seem to be aware that your older siblings atleast taught you that? 

Hearing him say that, Shadow looked at him with an annoyed look. 

Shadow: You mean the "In Over her Head" Sister? Or the " Perfect " Older brother? Either or, they taught me nothing . I got this powerful on my own. 

Cross: "Perfect" huh?

Shadow pointed his Slime sword at him. 

Shadow: Besides, the world knows you as leader of Shadow Garden. An Evil organization that causes senseless destruction to those in the political field and those in the warring field. 

Cross: We only hunt those that cause harm to my world. The Cult of Diabolos, their infection is hurting this world. The Possessed is just one of them. 

Shadow: Listen, I don't care one bit about this world . I'm simply fulling my calling. 

Alpha: Your calling? 

He looked over at Alpha and Yukime. 

Shadow: Yes, My calling. To be the one to hunt those in the Shadow, my domain of power... to become ... 

He held his hand out to the side expressing himself. 

Shadow: The Eminence in Shadow.

As they stood there in silence. Cross's Visor glowed Purple. 

Cross: Your Domain? Get real... your nothing more than an insect. 

He lowered his sword and begun to walk towards him. 

Cross: I tried to be nice, letting you live... but I can say this, with what you just said... your not gonna last not even for 5 mins. 

Shadow begun to walk over, his right eye flared purple magical energy.
