A week has passed and Alpha ordered Nu and some of the Numbers to gather any information they can on Marie.
Nu: Alright ... I'll ask you one more time...
Nu was sitting in a chair , holding a wine glass as two employee's were polishing a sword and cleaning a rifle.

Nu: I'm gonna use nice words , since your taking most of my time away from work. What do you two who are two imbecilic gentlemen, know of a Marie Reynard?
Before her were both Cid's friends , panicking as they were interrogated.
Skel: W-W-W-We don't know anything about her. We never e-e-even heard of a Marie Reynard.
(For the life of me I can't recall the other dudes name.)
Baldy(Yeah well go with that) : Y-yeah!
As they continued to give the same answer, Nu pondered for a moment in silence.
Nu: Get out....
As they were tossed out of the building. Later on a carriage ride, Adam was looking out the window as the scene goes by.
???: Everything okay?
He looked over to find Marie smiling at him. He smiled back .
Adam: I'm fine, just ...thinking is all .
Marie: Well , you can tell me anything. If it's bothering you this much, why not get a second opinion?
He thought for a moment and then looked at her.
Adam: Recently, I found my brother was in cahoots with some bad people . Did some bad things, when I finally caught up with him . He simple states he was performing his calling ... I ... I hesitated in the end and he got away...
As she listen , she looked at her hands.
Marie: If I had a sibling who did something as bad as that, I give him an earful but... I wouldn't resort to killing... Killing people... would not accomplish anything.
Adam: Even if it was the only choice?
Marie looked at him, with a hint of anger.
Marie: Their is always a choice! If you ever find him again, try to talk to him... if he ignores you then hold him down. If he tries to shake you off...then scream to make him listen. I'm sure your worried about him, but thats why we're going on this trip to the Hot spring... to help you decompress and relieve some stress.
Adam: Thank you Marie, even though we meet each other a week ago. I feel like I can trust you, so thank you.
Marie: Believe it or not, but I've fallen for you.
She laid her head on his shoulder as they enjoyed the ride to the hot springs.
