Tavern Troubles

Several weeks pasted since the incident at the hot springs. Adam was in his room , he was thinking about several things, as he stands at the window looking down at the street. 

Adam: ..... Too many unknowns are popping up. The Cult hasn't made a move at all since the Bushin Festival and that worries me more than anything. I can't have Zeta go, but maybe I can take a trip out to the Oriana kingdom since Former Princess Roses Fiancé is still alive. No... with Cid out there , I can't let him loose for too long... dammit... 

Alpha entered his room, she noticed his troubled state. 

Alpha: My Lord, I wanted to report that .... you seemed troubled? 

He looked over his shoulder to find her standing there. He turned his attention back towards the street. 

Adam: Too many Unknowns Alpha... The Cult activity in Oriana is too ... too deep. While my younger brother Cid or AKA Shadow , is still on the loose.... 

Alpha listened to him as he spoke. 

Adam: I'm well aware that 666 only joined us to help her Kingdom. But , if we wait too long things can go bad in a heartbeat if left unattended. Meanwhile , Shadow will strike the moment I leave ... since he claimed he himself is someone on a higher plane than that of a god. 

< Meanwhile> 

In his room, Cid was looking at the ceiling . Thinking back to when he fought Cross , how he hesitated to shoot him. 

Cid: That blonde elf... she called me Young Master Cid... how does she know of me? 

As he laid there, he pondered on the thought. 

< Town> 

Adam was walking through town, Alpha recommend he get some air . As he walked through town, he noticed how most of Mitsugoshi has claimed all of the surrounding stores. He stopped in front of one such store. 

Adam: Wait... wasn't this the place that sold those really good cinnamon rolls? Luna bought this place out as well.... 

He walks away, as he passes several stores that were bought out by Mitsugoshi. He pondered if what they're doing is somewhat getting out of hand. 

Adam: Hmm... maybe I should take that trip to Oriana... take a vacation from being the whole "God of Darkness" , besides I doubt they'll need my help in any upcoming hunts. 

As he walks down an alleyway, he stopped .

Adam: 664, 665 , 666.

On queue , they arrived each kneeling down to him. 

664: You summoned us Lord Cross? 

Adam: Start packing, you three are gonna be my escorts. 

665: Escorts sir? But someone with your power , can't possibly need our. 

Adam: I'm going on vacation and my destination will be the Oriana Kingdom. 

Hearing him say that, 666 eyes widened.

666: Um... Sir? 

He looked at her. 

Adam: Yes? 

666: I was wondering, Rose Oriana is still wanted . I wont be much help as an escort in that kingdom. 

Adam: Use the blessing to give you a disguise. " Flames can be deceiving ". 

She nods .

Adam: We'll take a train tonight, so get ready. 

They vanished instantly as he walks away.
