"I told you to get me lavender not dark pink" I snapped at one of the interns. "I am sorry ma'am" she grabbed the papers. "Just leave" I sighed closing my eyes. "You shouldn't have yelled at her" Kate told me. "It is seventh time I am explaining her" I glared at her. "Call her manager" she nodded and went to call him. "You called me"

"Put her on errands job. Give one of your executives the job to match the color fabrics" I gave him orders for other member job and he left after it. "Kate, come to my cabin" I signed the papers which required for this deal. "I modified the clause which needs to be changed" I handed the papers to her. "Get those changed and send it to Karen"

It's been nearly two weeks we went to that party. I left right after my conversation with Clara and I didn't talk to Aaron since then. I dropped him message I am leaving due to an emergency and stayed in office whole night. I managed to avoid him all this time. I would wake up late and sleep before he comes. He might have understood that I don't want to talk to him as he didn't make lot of efforts to talk either. I was thankful for it cause I don't have to lie to him.

"Aren't you going home?" I looked at Kate. "I have to prepare few models and it will take some time" she looked at me puzzled. "Did you fight with Aaron?" I stopped writing. "What is there to fight about?"

"Then why aren't you going home?" I throwed pen on the desk. "I don't need your permission to stay in my office" she looked hurt which made me feel bad. "Ok, I will leave then" I groaned once she left the room. I hit my head on the table and felt tears at the back of my eyes. This is one of my worst habits. I just shout whatever comes to my mind when I am angry. That is why I don't talk much when I am angry.

Kate knows that too but she pushed me today. I might be over reacting about Aaron but I can't take it lightly. It would have been great if he didn't do it in front of Clara at least. She is the main reason for my downfall and feeling of losing again in front of her made me mad. Seeing her brought the past back. It's been three years that I have last seen any of them.

I tried my best to forget them

Forget him but she brought all of it back again.

I was too lost in my thoughts I didn't realize the time. I heard the door open and looked up. "Our work time is done. So I am not your assistant now" Kate walked in with a box in her hands. "Can I spend time with my best friend?" I chuckled and nodded my head. "Let's go" she closed my laptop while I grabbed my coat and bag. She took my keys and drove us to our favorite hangout spot.

This is the small restaurant out of the city. It is always less crowded and has a beautiful view of hills. "So, I ordered your favorite" she sat opposite to me. "I am sorry about earlier. I shouldn't have said that" she grinned at me. "You can treat me today and I will forgive you" I chuckled at her. "So you wanna tell me what happened?"

"I met Clara in party that night" Kate gasped in shock. I told her everything happened in the party between me and Aaron and Clara. "So you didn't confront Aaron about it?" I shook my head. "We are not in love Kate, I don't care if he likes someone else" she looked baffled. "That can't be true. Aaron seems to like you"

"Aaron is not the problem here Kate. I don't want to say things I don't mean to him when I am mad. It's just Clara brought back lot of memories from past. I thought I moved on but seeing her made me think of Liam and I -" I choked on tears and instantly Kate sat beside me. "It's ok Lyra" I hugged her back and tried to stop crying. "It's ok to feel this way"

"You and Liam had special bond. It is normal to feel this way" I sniffled listening to her. "But I hate him" she hummed. "You can still miss someone even when you hate" she grabbed my hand. "Look I totally get it. But Liam is your past and Aaron is your present. You can't run away every time something happens"

"Imagine how lost Aaron must be feeling now. He doesn't even know what he did wrong. For all we care it could be a friend too. You can't jump in to conclusions" she is right but I didn't get mad at him. I was trying to sort my own mess and I forgot about his feelings. "Just talk to him. Aaron is a good guy. Just don't let a stupid guy from your past ruin your chance at happiness"

"I don't like Aaron" I don't know why she insists on Aaron liking me. "For now" before I can say anything our food came. "Now dig in. I am sure your mood will change after eating" she started eating without looking up. "Food is the solution to every problem for you" she took a bite of chicken. "Of course babe. Food is the real heaven"

"Can't disagree there" I laughed and started eating too. She is right. My mood changed after eating and talking to her. I told her to take the car as it was late so she dropped me at home before leaving. Lights were on when I entered in to our house. I can hear laughter and voices of people from the kitchen.

"Lyra" Aaron saw me first and smiled at me. I looked to his right and saw Noah, Chris and the girl from the party. I didn't observe her before but now that I see her she is beautiful. She has red hair with most beautiful shade of green eyes. "Hey, we have been talking about you" I snapped out of my thoughts and looked at Christian. "Want to join us for dinner?"

"I just ate with Kate" whatever I wanted to tell Aaron flew out of window as soon as I saw her with him. Kate was wrong. He didn't worry about me. He is completely fine and enjoying the presence of his friends. "Excuse me. I have some work to catch up on. Please carry on" I left before any of them can say anything.

I locked the door and sat on the bed. I stared at the blank wall not knowing what to do. Do I have to go downstairs and be the host? Should I just ignore them and stay here? It is not like I have to play perfect wife role in front of them. They seemed close to Aaron and I am sure they know about our marriage. "Lyra" I heard Aaron knock on the door. "Can you please open the door?"

"Are you ok?" Aaron asked me as soon as I opened the door. "What?" he cupped my face in his hands. "You cried" I looked away pushing his hands. "I am fine" I started removing my jewelry to avoid his gaze. "You are mad at me" I scoffed at him. "Why would I be mad?" he followed me wherever I go. "You didn't talk to me for days. Now you are avoiding me"

"Don't be self obsessed Aaron. Not everything is about you" he grabbed my waist and pushed me towards the wall. "Then tell me what is wrong" I moved to leave but he placed both hands on the side to stop me from leaving. "I have nothing to tell you" he got closer to me. "Just yell at me or scold me if I did something wrong but don't be like this" I looked at him in surprise at the softness of his voice. "I can't stay without talking to you. I missed that week where everything was perfect" he placed his forehead on mine. "I will do whatever you say, just talk to me"

"Aaron, it is nothing. I just had a bad week" I wanted to ask him about the girl but seeing him in this state made me shut my mouth. "Is there anything I can help you with?" I shook my head. "I am fine now" he took my hand in his and asked me. "Do you want to meet my friends or you want to take rest?" I decided to meet them. 

"This is Noah and Christian. You already know them" he pointed to the girl. "This is Mia, Noah girlfriend" he smiled at her. "She is Christian sister" she gave me hug. "I am so happy to see you finally" they all started talking and Aaron didn't let go of my hand not even for second whole night.

I kept saying I don't mind if Aaron likes someone but why did I felt relieved when Mia introduced herself.
