"Hi Lyra, long time no see" the person I least expected stood at the door grinning at me. "What are you doing here?" he gave hug making me freeze. "Aunt told me to assist you in this project." Right. I totally forgot Chris is Karen nephew. "You know him" Kate seemed surprised with our conversation. "He is Aaron friend" she gave me a look to which I nodded my head. She already knows about Mia and Chris from my story but she didn't see them.

"Who is this beautiful lady?" Chris grinned at Kate who looked at me for help. "She is my assistant Kate. She will assist if you need any help" Chris eyes lit up at my words. I chuckled when I saw Kate giving me glare. I can tell Chris seemed interested in her but again this is how he is. Out of Aaron friend Chris is the most outgoing. "Hi beautiful, I am Chris" he took Kate hand and kissed the back of it. Kate turned red in an instant which made laugh. I haven't Kate like this before.

"Aunt told me that you are finalizing the models for store" I hummed and looked at Kate. She nodded and left to get the files. I invited him in to my office and we sat on sofa while waiting for Kate. "I am glad to see you even though it is for work. We can spend some time together" Chris grinned at me. "I would rather you focus on work" I told him when I saw the look he gave me. "I will try" I laughed at his words. He had a way of making others like him.

I guess this is the part of his charisma. Besides no one would dislike him with the looks he has. Blonde hair which is trimmed on the front showing his sexy forehead paired with perfect deep blue eyes. He even has mullet which make him sexier. If I haven't seen Aaron then I would have thought he is the most handsome man I met. "I know you can't resist my looks" I snapped out of my thoughts and looked at amused Chris. "Though you are stunning Aaron would kill me if I look at you any way"

"Besides I am more interested in your red hair friend" I know he is talking about Kate. Before I can scold him Kate walked in with bundle of files. "Let me help my lady" Chris took files from her and placed them on the table. "Call me if you need anything" Kate told me before leaving. Chris turned serious once he started working. "I think we can go with this one. It has more defined look and it even has warehouse" he chose the one I selected earlier. "Do you want to show it to Karen before finalizing?"

"No need of it. She said she has trust in us" I hummed in reply. Chris is going to inherit so it is normal for him to be like this. "Do you have any plans on which clothes we should exhibit first" I explained to him the models we thought. He gave me pointers on few things and gave his opinion on other. "I think we are done for today" he stretched his arms and legs looking at time. "I will see you on Friday with new models then" he pouted looking at me like a sad puppy. "Can't I stay for a while?"

"I still have work in company" he seemed sad but suddenly his eyes lit up in excitement. "I won't disturb you but let me take a picture to remember our first work day" I felt something is wrong but he didn't give me chance. He throw his hand over my shoulder and kept his left cheek to my right cheek and clicked picture. I was surprised at his bold gesture but before I know it he was leaning away from me. "Can I at least get a coffee before I leave?" I couldn't force him to leave so I sighed loudly and asked Kate to bring Coffee.

"I brought some cookies too. You should eat" she gave me a stern look so I grabbed a cookie and munched on it. Chris typed something on his phone then mumbled it is perfect. "What is it?" I asked him but he shook his head. "Nothing. This will be enough to pass time" he grinned before taking sip of his coffee. We didn't talk much after that enjoying the tea and snacks until someone barged in to the room.

"Aaron?" I blinked my eyes in confusion. "What are you doing here?" he seemed to be panting like he ran here. His suit was crinkled and his hair is messy like he ran his hands through it. "Are you ok?" I asked him worried after seeing his appearance. "Hey buddy" Chris grinned before giving Aaron hug. "I missed you" he gave me cheeky grin while Aaron frowned. "What are you doing here?" Aaron asked Chris instead of answering my question. "He is working with me on Paris store" I explained to him about the deal and he nodded his head. Chris whispered something in Aaron ear which made Aaron freeze. I wanted to ask them what was going on but I didn't want to look interested. I decided to let them talk and organized files we worked on.

I placed them on my table and closed the laptop. I don't think I can work here till they leave so better to relax for a while. I turned around when I felt a presence behind me. "Hi" I didn't expect Aaron to be so close so I moved back but my feet hit the table. "Careful" he grabbed my arms and steadied me. "You didn't tell me you are working with Chris"

"I found out one hour back" he didn't have to know everything but his voice seemed so sad I explained to him. I don't know why he is so worried about Chris but I didn't mind working with him. He is fun to be around. "You didn't answer my question" he thought about it and I took this time to observe him. It's been two weeks I last spoke to him properly. I don't want to say this but I missed him. I am aware of my growing feelings for Aaron but I didn't want to admit them.

"Chris told me he is here and he asked me to come" Chris must have messaged Aaron before the coffee time. I wanted to ask him why he looked the way he did but I couldn't put it in words. "He wanted to hang out with others tonight. He asked me to bring you" Aaron said playing with lock of my hair. I found this too intimate but for some reason I couldn't talk. "He said to invite Kate too"

"I have work Aaron" he placed lock of hair behind my ear and smiled at me. "You should take break once in a while" I looked up in to his eyes which were looking at me lovingly. I couldn't say no after seeing his face so I agreed. He walked back two steps and beamed at me in excitement. "I will wait for you outside then" he disappeared making me think back. He played with me emotions to get a yes from me. my face reddened in embarrassment when I realized how stupid I looked to him.
