Another day and another shade of blue.
It seems like that little smurf was true to her name. She loved the colour since that was the only colour I've seen her wearing mostly throughout the week.
Apart from the usual meetings regarding updates for the proposal, Vanya seems to avoid me. While I don't know the reason behind such action, it sure irked me when I found her avoiding eye contact with me at every possible encounter.
It wasn't like I was finding ways to meet her, it was just a coincidence.
Taking out my phone, I open Instagram, instantly going over to her profile to find it private. She had about a hundred or so followers, her following list was almost similar. I tapped on her profile picture, scoffing when I found her clad in blue in it as well.
This smurf and her obsession with blue.
I hit the back button, about to reel back from her profile when the door to my office suddenly burst open followed by a loud screech.
"Mahir!"
My phone falls from my hand in surprise, hitting the rug-covered floor with a soft thud and I quickly pick it up, my eyes widening when I see the 'requested' tab instead of follow on Vanya's profile.
Oh for fuck's sake!
I snap my neck towards Nayan whose dramatic expression soon transforms into a scared one when he takes in the look on my face. I probably give off a murderous vibe but that's how I actually feel right now. On the verge of murdering this piece of shit.
"You son of a bi-" I stand up and lunge at him. Why is it that whenever I'm in some sort of mess he's always present there? I don't know about my best friend, but this man sure as hell is a pain in my ass.
We pause when the door to my office opens and Kaya enters with some files, her expression turning sour when she sees us.
"Hey Kaya," Nayan grins, throwing a wink her way to which she replies with a disgusted look before getting out."Still as rude as before," he mutters before turning back to face me, his face turning pale.
"Mahir, dekh, I'm sorry okay? But you're at fault here! As your bestfriend, I'm supposed to be the one to know about your relationship before anyone else!"
