Kabhi Kabhi toh lagta main pichle janam mein hitler thi. Warna kyu saare kaand mere saath hi hote!
Just as I get out of one mess, another appears and it brings a package of two. It felt like I finally reconciled with my boss but here we are about to mess things up again. After his somewhat cute and fumbling explanation, things between us were settled quite a bit but no, the devil seemed to like me a bit too much to let everything in my life go smoothly.
"Vanya," Saloni smirks at me, her eyes going over to sir's hand gripping mine. The man though, didn't look as if he were aware of the fact. He had his own five feet eleven inches of mess to sort out anyway.
"Saloni," I grit out, my jaw clenching when both of them look at sir and then back at me. Out of everyone it had to be these two. Bloody tattletales!
"Bhabhi? You never told us you had a boyfriend, dear cousin,"Chhavi, her little sister asks, her brow cocking as she stares between me and sir with a smug smile.
"Look at you," Saloni steps towards me, her tone a hiss. "Acting all high and mighty and having an affair behind your mother's back?"
My hand unconsciously tightens around Sir's when I feel the urge to wrap it around her neck and wring it. She takes out her phone, clicking a picture of us quickly and I scoff in disbelief.
"What the hell did you just do?" I ask and she only smirks. "A little momento of our meet up. I have to inform the family you know. Because you didn't feel the need to."
My jaw clenches, my hands shaking. I couldn't exactly pinpoint the emotion behind it. It was definitely frustration and anger. But something told me both of these emotions were submerged with fear. But before I can say anything to express those emotions, Moksh Oberoi steps forward.
It wasn't like I didn't know who he was. Heck everyone between the ages of fifteen to forty-five knew who the man was after the numerous blockbuster movies he served. He had grown to fame in the past five years due to his hard work. But alas, the scandals following him were something he couldn't avoid.
"If my bhabhi didn't tell anything to the likes of you, I think you should guess the reason why," he says with a smile as he pulls the phone from her hand. A smile that was anything but genuine. His eyes were wary and cold, just like his brother's.
